1. The leaked video backfired on team "O", the 12 % undecided (at this point) are tax payers, and those that feel America has way too many entitlements. The repeating of this story, stated one fact... 47% pays no taxes. It resonated with the undecided.

2. Changing your opinin on abortion is little consequence. Because 1. regardless on romneys opinion, it wont change what we have, legal abortions, based upon time frames.Do you think the hard right wont vote for him.... really do you believe that?

Our veterans arent stupid, they know that Rommney was not saying that everyone of the 47% percent that dont pay taxes, are them, but not all of the 47% need to get off the tit. It just cant be 47%... retirees, veterans, etc will still get there's.. they were promise it as we were.

Not as lucky as me. Every time I log in I'm the 1 millionth visitor! We rang one of these once at work - cracked up. The recorded chat was in an old woman's voice but said her name was Abdul!

I would get survey/ pollsters to call. I did not mind a short survey. But some droned on for half an hour.

I asked , when was it to be over.
OH just a FEW more questions.. they said. Ten -fifteen minutes later...

It got to the point, if someone called.. I told them if it was short.. ok.. 30 minutes. NOPE was not wasting my time.
I guess they had to make a living.

But after awhile. when they called. I just told them "no thank you. have a nice day ".. and then hung up.

Survey is one thing. Spending the rest of your life with them is another.

So, how to they determine the demographics based on a telephone number? People move all the time, numbers are reassigned, etc.

How does a number determine age, gender, education level, political affiliation & so on?

The polling is way off, because of just the above stories.

I just dont think the phone call model of polling is correct anymore, The online may be more accurate, but flawed because of "who tends to hang out there" obvously a huff post poll means nothing, as would a fox news or msnbc poll

No. That 47% does not include retirees. That percentage is for households, non-retired, that pay NO Federal income taxes.

OBTW, military people pay Federal income taxes. Where did you get the idea that they do not?

If only 9% of anyone answers, then that is the % you start from, and deviate downward, not upward.


so of that 9% that answered (which we can all agree skew more left than right. they would call 100 people, only 9 would answer. 4 would vote 0, 4 would vote R, 2 undecided.



But what you forget, is that that by default and only getting 9%, you may be securing the automatics for O and misreprenting a large perecentage of ROmmney...
