My desire is to open eyes. Enoch,a person that 'walked with God' is a very special person. The holy spirit ,that inspired our scriptures placed him in two of our books of the bible. Hebrews and Jude.In Gods wisdom, why?

Enoch is the name of my unborn son. He is due christmas eve. I respect and admire the man of God.

A vision of the FLOOD,he knows of the flood before it't time.then he is taken up, after leaving his "books" to the family. Being the seventh from Adam might imply we are very close if you consider 'a day is like a thousand years" we could be at the end of the sixth day or we could say friday night is here. Not a date setter,just want to get out of here.

Regarding Enoch as a Christmas day child, why not,maybe this will create a trend. What bothers me is all the knock-knoch jokes!!

Enoch is mentioned in the Bible a few times, is Jasher? If he isn't, that would make me nervous.

John's books are inspired while the book of Enoch is not. It was not written by enoch, who we are told was a prophet, yet have no written work of his. He may not have written anything since it is believed preflood man did not need to write. They were in a different age when man lived to be 900 years old. They were very smart beings and did not need to write down anything.

Jude 1:14 "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints,"

The first Christians rejected the book of Enoch, which did not even consist as we find it today. It has been added to since that time by those early Gnostics.

Still, it'a amazing the verses that ring with truth. Being Enoch came first.Gen.9;13 I set my bow in the cloud.and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

It's the motive behind our works. If the purpose is to save our selves ,were lost. Only by faith and faith alone can we be saved! We are saved to work....not to work to be saved.Get the horse in front. Question: what would God hate more,some one who thought they needed just a little work to get to Heaven or a person who though they needed a bunch?

The book of Enoch did not come first. It is a gnostic text mostly AD. Genesis is the oldest book. (wiseman hypothesis) Moses only compiled Genesis.

That's so neat,Christmas day will be so cool. I have grand children,also neat.Brings to mind Methuselah, can you only imagine how it was in his days. Mr.Methuselah says to his wife.....did you send out those cards ? Which ones ? She replies ? I'am not sure,do you have the list? What list? OH YA I forget, we can't write. Here is some thing to ponder, Methuselah , his name means " WHEN HE DIES IT WILL COME"
Just think, every morning when he wakes up the whole gang can't wait to say: ARE YOU FEELING OK TO DAY. I'am sure they they were concerned about his health.Think about this,the flood starts,methuselah arrives at the Ark,hands Enoch's books to his grandson and then drops dead
