Is this some character in a fantasy novel?

But, yes, it is a fantasy series that I can see some obvious masonic influences within. Do you think it's a concept grounded in reality or just a fanciful idea the author used to make his story more interesting? My guess would be the latter. Waiting for MoL D: What's MoL?
