Advertisers do it,lobbyist do it when they are not influencing legislation,every news outlet does it now so I guess there is nothing wrong with it.

Look at this point you can't even prove you have a soul. How do you assign a value to something like that? I mean it's a matter of faith. It's either nonexistent and worthless or worth everything. Wouldn't you like to have seductive material luxuries that you can see and hold? They are certain to exist and can give you so much pleasure.

No, definitely no. I couldn't intentionally aggravate or mislead people because that would harm my heart and soul. There isn't enough money in the world that is worth doing harm to oneself. To see life as eternal, to know where you come from and where you are going elevates mankind to a higher dimension where that kind of deception will not survive.

I stand by my position, if I could know what I was getting myself into before making the decision I would seriously consider it. It is a legitimate profession. Reputation management is important in the this information age. What if said position was simply countering popular misconceptions, or rebutting competing companies products/claims. How many misleading statements do we hear from all sides of the political platform during election season? You still vote don't you?

to answer the question the OP is really asking I would have to say no I wouldn't compromise what I believe to be true, or hold dear in my heart for money. I was merely pointing out that reputation management is not necessarily an evil thing.

I worked for a logistics company, and we had a bad review online from years ago that was costing us money. The sad part is that the review was inaccurate in its claims, and really stemmed from ignorance on the customers part. It had to do with delays at customs in China, and the customer was blaming our company for it. Is it wrong to rebut said customers misinformation in order to protect the companies bottom line? For all we know it could have been one of our competitors employing black hat techniques to deprive us of business and increase the likelihood that they would score the job.
