There are tons of symbols and messages in the classroom scene and the alice in wonderland part, but i am going to jump ahead to the next part that reveals countries involved:
The toxic waste scenes:
Russia man (hammer and sickle) drowning in green sludge
Then tanks with the all seeing eye
Then woman with tiger symbol on her back (Japan?) waving a surrender flag. she also has a "no radiation" symbol on her cheek.
Then giant skeleton (dios de los muertos) halts her.
Dios de los muertos is not just a mexican holiday. It is also practiced in Korea, Philipenes, Brazil, Haiti, Ecuador, Guatemala, and any country that adheres to the ancient pagan indigenous ritual of worshipping their dead ancestors.
it is also deeply rooted in Roman Catholicism
this part also reminds me of the DIA murals.
Quoting: Salt The 'Russian' is actually 'Juan Pepito' - the scene is symbolising the slime of latinamerican corruption swallowing up the honest workers there - preventing them progressing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24782233 yeah, i take nothing away from the website. if it represents latin america, why is he holding a sickle and hammer? Quoting: Salt Because the sickle and the hammer were symbolic tools of the labor class long before Communism adopted the sickle and hammer as their symbol. In fact, that is WHY they chose those two tools to become a part of their emblem. The sickle represents agriculture and the hammer represents industry. It's been a part of heraldry for a long time (and way before the Bolsheviks came into the picture).
