Presidential debates lose HUGE sponsor over exclusion of third-party candidates!

Gary Johnson is suing them all to get on the stage. If he can get there he will win the debates and the election so he will never win any of the law suits.

Yes, Philips for this household. Nice to see companies taking the high road. Boycott the dualistic trouble makers, let's get this country back on track.

Wrong! Phillips makes the most compatible and useful DVD players - not to mention being among the least expensive. They are user friendly and reliable. I'll only buy this brand, since most of the others are in bed with the MPAA.

That's not necessarily the point - it would be better for the American sheep to have a third party player in the debate that isn't bought and paid for just for calling out the lies of the other two establishment candidates for everyone to see.

It's time to have a prime time debate between all the presidential candidates, EXCEPT the reps and dems. Leave uglybama and mittens out of it and let's get some proper perspective from all the others. It could actually be several hours of interesting and honest dialog, and could raise the issues that the monopoly candidates won't.

Imagine several weeks of 1 hour debates. Much more interesting than "reality" shows, and less expensive.

Nobody in America, statistically speaking, knows who Johnson is.

Non-event.

And prepare for the overwhelming sub-MSNBC ratings.

Stop operating under the assumption that people react to facts and reason. The current White House usurper prove that this is a flawed outlook.

Emotion is the key.

How can he have the chance when he is not given equal air time as the two partisan puppets?

Gary Johnson will never get elected because only 2% of Americans consider themselves libertarians. The only purpose that Johnson is serving is helping keep Obama in office.

Putting him on national television in the debates will only serve that purpose even moreso.

I hope they all pull the plug on the electoral scam.

That is what I would like to know. There is no way private commercial interests should have anything to do with them.

I used to work for Philips. A straight up good company. The ONLY 'good' mega-corp I ever worked for.

I already have two awesome Phillips DVD players that you can plug a flash drive into to watch avi and other videos (a HUGE convenience) and this decision by the company to pull their ads from the presidential debates for the reason it gave is enough to convince me to look for PHILLIPS-branded electronics ONLY as my first choice from now on!

Go read the Constitution please.

Nice to read this.

The Dutch mentality is that we don't mind to share our wealth - up to a certain point - 'cos it's better for business when the people you employ feel they are part of 'the family'.

Besides that it's better for the social climate when those who rely on welfare have enough to eat.

I think sharing is much more fun than keeping everything to yourself.

next time i need an electronics item in my home that they make i will be sure to buy their brand
