As far as I am concerned the AMA are the biggest pushers of drugs on the planet. |

THC oil is very easy to make. Google is your friend for finding out how to make THC oil. Personally, If I had cancer I would eat 3 or 4 grams of raw bud per day. I would eat 1 gram of bud 3 or 4 times a day. If you eat the bud you get everything (THC, CBD, etc). It seems silly to just extract the THC for oil and ignore all the other good compounds the plant has. Eating it raw still ensures you are getting the THC. |

All with only 15% 'having to work to make it all happen'. Canada also has lots of swamp that could become a 'fortress' for growing the smoking kind. Climate controlled all year for free, lights are extra and power is produced on-site. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 74467558 United States 02/20/2019 01:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Lots of well intentioned but misleading information here. There are 3 types of cannabis strains, sativa, indica and ruderalis. Then there are essentially 3 types of oil, with thc, w/o thc but cbd dominant and then hempseed oil which is made from strictly seeds, not the flowers and leaves as are the previous 2. Ruderalis = hemp (will not get you high), this is used to make the predominantly cbd oils as the hemp plant naturally contains very little to no thc but is higher in cbd. This is often used genetically to make strains of cannabis higher in cbd. Sativa = cannabis (will get you high), this is used to make oils that will typically yield a stoners high. Usually will contain greater amounts of thc, which get you heady high, but does have other cannabinoids such as cbd, just in much smaller amounts. This can lead to hallucinatory affects the higher the % of thc. Indica = cannabis (will get you high), this is used to make oils that affect the body more, relaxation, sleep & pain would be predominant uses. This oil does contain thc but does contain a slightly more amount of cbd. This oil, like sativa oils will have other cannabinoids too, provided they are full spectrum oils and not derived from isolates. This sort of oil can lead to a 'couch lock' type effect the higher the % of thc, meaning very lethargic. There are of course hybrid mixes of the above three as well which will help match symptoms with proper medicine. Hempseed oil will not get you high and is derived from the seeds only of the cannabis (hemp) plant and can come from any of the three types (S,I,R) as the seeds themselves do not contain the same thc/cbd/cannabinoid profiles that the flowers and leaves do. This is where you get the omega 3/6 fat ratio and this oil is often used as a carrier oil for the other medicinal oils. Other carrier oils are often olive and coconut oils and hempSEED oils are more similar in useage to these other carrier oils. You would use it to make a vinaigrette if you so desired. Hopefully this clears up any confusion present in this thread. Some good info in a recent thread here on glp linked below. Thread: CBD Oil |

Thread: CBD Oil To expand a little upon this, I consider cannabis a alchemical medicine as it is a spiritual, mental and physical medicine. I would consider sativa strains spiritual medicine as you have the more heady high (what actually is a hallucination???). The term 'high' to me is in reference to the plant raising one's vibration, which causes the effects of the sativa strain. In the higher vibration, you are perceiving more frequency ranges. You are tuned differently, your heart will race. If you are seeking spiritual (non physical) wisdom, this would be appropriate medicine. Hybrid strains I would consider mental medicines as they are more balanced, while you are able to experience the broader range of frequencies, it is less intense and you are able to give consideration to the experience while it is happening instead of just being taken for the ride that higher percentage thc sativas will do. This may actually be ideal medicine for ptsd, I would look into lower levels of sativa to begin with if I was using for ptsd. As tolerance and familiarity grew, one may consider finding strains with slightly higher sativa percentages. Indica and cbd hemp oils I would consider physical medicines, these focus much more on what ails the body. As stated before, pain, anxiety, sleep disorder, cancers, etc are what this sort of medicine would be tailored for. There is a ton of information out there on the medicinal of cannabis, I would consider the majority of those uses to fall under indica and cbd hemp (ruderalis) oils. My experience in this comes from a lifelong journey with the cannabis plant, using, growing and researching. I recall one time having quit (forced) after smoking close to 8oz of Jack Herer (15% sativa) over the course of a year. My body vibrated for about a week from withdrawal shortly after stopping and why I know for a fact that you raise your vibration via smoking. Think about it, why is it called getting high? Why is drinking too much considered getting drunk and not getting high? Maybe because it lowers your vibration? Is it possible that it has been vilified because it is actually good for you and something that is bad for you can be exalted? Take smoking cigarettes for instance, for years it was doctor recommended not to mention the huge media push behind alcohol. |
