Earthquake Magnitudes Increasing

Breaking: A magnitude 6.2 has occurred just off the north east coast of Japan. The trend continues...

I am not an expert but I agree something is happening along the ring of fire. The magnitudes of earthquakes have increased and I think geologists should be very concerned and trying to figure this out. I had a dream where I saw a ton of water and there was no water where the ocean once was also had a dream about 6 months ago that California had a 7.0 followed by a 9.0 and three states were effected by water. I have heard many people having similar dreams. I think California is going to have a big earthquake and I would appreciate it if the geologists could stay on top of this! The ring of fire is very active what I cannot figure out is where did all the water come from in the dream and why would three states be effected by water it just makes no sense can someone explain where all the water would come from?

I think it's still within historical norms. Remember that we had a period of four months or so this year where there wasn't much activity above 6.0, it just goes like that sometimes.

We have been having alot of earthquakes here in newzealand alot of 3's and 4's on our upper north island. We are on the ring of fire we have also had a volcona mt tongariro become active last few months. I think something very big is about to unfold. I also have been having dreams of a lot water and earthquakes. Not to mention i get these quakes notified on my phone but upon checking them they seem to be constantly down graded. For example a 4.7 was down graded to a 3... Any way somethings going on.

There's certainly a lot of earthquakes on the pacific ring of fire at the moment, but seeing as it's the most active area on Earth with regard to seismic activity it's not all that surprising. However, it's interesting and a bit concerning that the magnitudes and frequencies are increasing. If you look around the pacific ring they're notching up between 4.0-6.0 daily from Japan, Indonesia, New Zealand, Mexico, California and Alaska. Most notably Mexico hit a 7.4 the other day, while Japan had a 6.2 last night.

It may well be just a very active period, but California is easily hitting a dozen earthquakes over a 24 hour period and you could say the same with Alaska. All pretty low mag but the quantity must mean there's increasing tension and greater potential for a major one?

Not sure how I feel about dreams as predictions or insight into future events. I don't dismiss the possibility, but maybe subconsciously we pick up on signals in a similar way animals anticipate forthcoming danger which are then manifested into a certain scenario in our dreams...?

There have been a number of people who have had "visions", "predictions" or claim to have inside intelligence (e.g. regarding HAARP). I'm sure you heard of Mitchell Coombes who has made a number of correct predictions (through research and inside information), including the Japanese earthquake and tsunami in 2011 and when it would hit. In August, he posted on his facebook account saying there would be another earthquake this time hitting California and possibly Australia's east coast, set-off by HAARP and tsunamis being assisted by nukes in the sea. He didn't give an exact date but says he will give a 4 day warning soon (the time it takes from when HAARP has been programmed, to when the disaster will occur, in which there is no cancellation). This is the same procedure he used before the Japan earthquake when he gave a 4 day warning. I'm not sure how much I buy into all of this, but the easiest way to find out is to wait and see.
