As a Christian, I too am hesitant on the idea of speaking in tounges. However, I am completely receptive to the idea and would embrace it if the Holy Spirit were to ever take over one day.

I went to a church with an old GF of mine, about halfway through.. people started speaking in tongues. I was like WTF? Never seen that before.. I didn't feel any "good" coming from them.. all I sensed was EVIL!!! Never went back, and dumped the girl.

yes i have this exp on gift of tounges i in my dreams have spoke in tounges even yesterday night i saw a dream inwhich i saw alady speaking in dreams and psalm 114 i couldnot understand it

maybe you are having past life dreams where you spoke other languages. Stop with the false speaking in tongue BS in christianity.

I have witnessed such and they are not speaking in tongues, they are producing mind controlled GARBAGE. anybody can do it in fact. spew garbage sounds.

the teaching on speaking in tongues, means multiple learned languages and some day we will have technologies much better than now to master quickly several languages.

Speaking in tongues in not gibberish or any strange noises or sounds.

Speaking in tongues is literally speaking in someone else's language.

For the purpose of preaching the Gospel to them.

It is not a heavenly tongue, a spiritual speech or anything of the sort.

It is a foreign language meant to be understood by those who hear it.

Example...

John speaks Spanish. Frank speaks Russian.

John through the power of God speaks to Frank in Russian even though John does not know Russian.

That is speaking in tongues.

Yes in a dream as well. It was not gibberish it was a foreign language spoken to another person I verified the language afterwards. Was very new at the time to that sort of dream.
