Re: How do we know that we're all experiencing time together?
Maybe you're right - But how do we even know that timelines exist..?

Could there be millions of timelines, one for each and every living thing? Obviously not just humans, what about each and every animal, insect etc?

Re: How do we know that we're all experiencing time together?
Great question. I have wondered the same. How do we know we are even experiencing the same reality in general? Whos to say we are simply experiencing the world through a single "fractal" instead of our consciousness as a whole....which is whats enslaving us...?

False. Our consciousness is seperate from the brain. Thats like saying when we die it just goes black.

Hmmm.

Well.

Uhhh.

Yeah but then Bob wouldn't agree with me that yesterday was Monday if he wasn't literally experiencing it the same as me.

But Bob's Monday might have been WAY longer than mine was, perceptually.
 Quoting: Mister Obvious

No, Monday would still be monday, but he'd have experienced that 2 days ago, not yesterday.

I dont think i'm explaining it very well...

His "present" may be thursday, or friday, and any conversation he has with you today, would have already happened in his reality...
 Quoting: Sperminator X 4912635

I know what you are saying OP, I've thought the same thing, what if we don't see the world the same, what if blue to me is really purple to you, or, how do you know that all the other people we interact with everyday are real, what if your reality is really just one big dream?

Re: How do we know that we're all experiencing time together?
I was thinking today - how do we know that the moment in time we're experiencing is the same as eachother?

Whats to say that my today didn't happen to you yesterday, and you're a day ahead of me - and we're all experiencing different dates / times etc?

My present could be a week, a month or a year ahead of yours, or vice versa.

...I hope i explained it correctly...

well the whole point of the internets is to bring us all, to websites reguardless of when or where you are , so they can info dive those websites for what ever , they are looking for.

though, they really have not said what it is they would be looking for,
i would bet a long time ago, before the "internet" went online they knew some one could be sending info some where and they just "made" or "copyed" the internet system to
get at that info.
how must differance in time would you really need to,
have it to be worthy of all that looking and makeing of the internet.

would it be years of long worthless info looked at, to find something ,when you have a computer fast enuff to see it in the data, or would it, be one moment in time, a sec or a min, of an hour of found data on some date, to change the whole world?

who knows, not me.

Op, your main thought is something ive considered and thought about since the summer/fall of 2000. Menial work during "A" school got my mind wrapped around existance and that moment you dawn into realization, as well as any happiness or activity that makes time go faster, etc…if we all start at point a but it is different spots on a timeline, the younger person.bears more influence on the older person because the younger person is in that moment way faster than the older person. This means the older person would be living in a sort of holographic and more passive experience. The whole thing is strange to consider but totally plausible for me.

Op. you're asking if your experience is the curren conscious experience and all the experiences you think you see are just experiences in another dimension.

 Quoting: Seeker of Truth

This isn't exactly true. When people are living in their thoughts or their fantasies they aren't exactly experiencing the NOW, they're in a comets different dimension of existence. I think this is what a lot of religions try to teach, to let go of all those thoughts that take u away from the real now and live in the now now

And closing thoughts since it appears many aren't ready for this: if we all live in our own time realities and we all interact with others who may not really be "existing" in your time dimension, but DO and have existed in that moment but in their OWN moment, then the truth is that all things have and are all fixed and meant to happen.
