Anonymous Coward User ID: 10496877 United States 12/13/2012 09:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We've all heard about the study showing that some 70% of the shopping carts in grocery stores had traces of fecal matter on them. Ever since this drew my alarm, I've started noticing how few people wash their hands in public restrooms, even after taking a crap. Quoting: sci fi girl My daughter noticed the same thing in elementary school, as virtually every little girl-all from solid, middle class families-neglected to wash their hands, even after doing a number two. One of my bosses- a real big shot- was in the rest room at work recently when I came in. I was appalled when she exited the stall (it was obvious she'd been "busy" in there for a while) and just walked out of the rest room with a big smile, without washing her hands. My question is; how can this be possible? Are we now living in a Third World country, where basic rules of cleanliness are not important? Weren't we all potty trained, and told at that point to wash our hands afterwards? What kind of people don't teach their kids this? More importantly, what kind of kids learn this, but then somehow decide it's better to not wash their hand after it's been wiping their butt? Are there really successful, intelligent adults who think it's okay to leave the restroom with fecal matter on their hands? Maybe it's always been this way and I just never noticed before, but I have to believe this is more of a disturbing recent trend. Needless to say, the proliferation of fecal matter on shopping carts, on ice cubes in restaurants and other common areas represents a real public health hazard. Has anyone else noticed this? Do people even care? Were you all trained to wash your hands? Do any of you not wash your hands after bathroom visits? All comments welcomed. Sometimes I'll wash my hands before peeing. My penis has a shower every morning and is clean and I make it a practice of not pissing on my hand, so why would I waste time washing and drying them? Now women might get stuff on thier hands and should wash. |

The first thing I do when I get home after being out and about is wash my hands!!! So you wash you hands after you take a dump, ok? then you touch a door handle that has had MILLIONS of germs left by DOZENS of other people.....where's the advantage to washing?????????????? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 10616946 United States 12/13/2012 10:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hold it everyone!!!!!!!!! FINAL WORD ON THIS SUBJECT. The thread is about washing your hands and the HUGE ASSUMPTION AND THE ILLUSION IS : Washing your hands = clean hands. The water you are washing your hands with is not clean in the first place. You think soap in public restrooms kill germs ? Nope not at all. First off many tests have been done on water from the faucet ( check Youtube) and the water has shown to be full of chemicals and feces even. Traces of pharmaceutical drugs have been in water as well. Those city filters are not getting the water pure and clean. Then throw in the fact that it would make you sick if you know all the bacteria and parasites on your body period. Ask a scientist or informed doctor and he/she will tell you that the body is dead already. It's the aliveness in the body that animates it and the body does appear alive but is dead. That is why it stinks period. Especially it is noticeable after a day or two. Yes washing your hands is a good thing in the illusion but in reality makes you think and all in this thread believe by washing cleans your hands. Soap is basically perfume and doesn't get rid of the body of germs and parasites.Splashing perfume on a pig will make a pig smell good. So the person and all here claim that they wash their hands and are appalled at those who don't there is another assumption that these cleantards are telling the truth here. All people lie including me. The same guy who washes his hands leaves the bathroom and then picks his nose. Or touches something unclean as the faucet in the public restroom is deceiving himself. You're assuming the faucet handle you touch is clean but you wash and then turn off the faucet and your hands have the crap on them again. Then you with your pride about clean hands go to a restaurant and eat food that is not clean and pick up utensils that are contaminated assuming that the dishwashing cleans the items. Many cookd in the back room sneeze on the food while preparing or have know to drop food on the floor and put it back on the plate etc. So your insides are not clean. Ask a surgeon if the body smells opening it up. IT stinks. So let's assume your hands are clean and your ego is full of pride yet your colon contains fecal matter that has been in their for years full of parasites and bacteria. No one is clean. |

Pretty f'ing disgusting if you ask me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27594769 In the future try not using terms like,"no offence", "just sayin", or the word,"but". All infer that you are sincere, but reality suggests that anything used after those terms is BULLSHIT. Not like I dont wash my hands if theres shit on em, but come on people...if you havent learned to wipe your ass and not get shit all over your hands you have far bigger issues than getting germs. Absolute retards. Seems like asisnine threads like this POS one are taking up needed server space for ACTUAL THINGS THAT ACTUALLY MATTER. Site is gay as fuck. Perhaps you sissified fucks should get Obummer to pass a law making people wash their hands huh? Sometimes I wonder how many of you tards woulda survived 50 years ago when noone cared about such nonsense and there was no anti-bacterial soap. In my 35 years on this planet Ive noticed one thing. Women are far more disgusting human beings than men. Ive had women roommates that never cleaned anything, never vacuumed, cleaned a toilet, and only did laundry when they were out of clothes. Men by comparison I think are far cleaner because we have a stigma of being dirty. Come to think of it, this can be proven. Walk into any big box store...Wallyworld,Target, etc. Take a look at the people...men vs women. Notice how both are dressed. By far, I see women in shabby clothes, mostly sweatpants. Little/no makeup, disheveled hair...just the aura of "idgaf". At a rate of like 3 to one...women are far fatter as well. So all this nonsense about men are dirty and blah, blah, blah, is pure poppycock. At least in my experience anyway. Last Edited by Iamtheone on 12/13/2012 10:53 AM VENI VIDI VICI |

Quoting: sci fi girl People have learned to use paper towels to touch anything in the bathroom, including the door knob, after they wash their hands, so the "everything is dirty-germs are everywhere" mantra is about as lame as it gets. Using this logic, why would you ever wash your hands at all? Leave oil, or paint, or whatever, on your hands, because, what is the point of washing them when everything you touch is dirty? The "we survived for centuries" without washing makes no sense. Yes, we did, and this helped produce black plagues, fevers and other childhood diseases that were only eradicated when humans invented soap and discovered that combined with water, it served an important purpose. It's also incredible that we have intelligent people now admitting they don't wash their hands, even after taking a crap, and feeling comfortable in doing so. Where is the shame even a small child used to feel, when caught with filthy hands? Doesn't the smell bother you? Do you even bother to wash before eating? If you have kids, what do you tell them? Just leave out any reference to hand washing? Do your kids ever ask what the bathroom sink is for? Really, people, this is basic existence 101. And why wipe after taking a dump, anyway? Isn't not wiping, or not flushing the toilet, part of the same incomprehensible line of logic? I think this disturbing trend can be attributed primarily to the increasing laziness and general stupidity of the public. We have become an idiocracy. Diseases aren't made of germs. Many life threatening diseases came from rats or a mutation of another disease |

Mom was a nurse, she was always on us about regular hand washing, especially after using the bathroom. And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.
