If you want your kids, "Safe," then throw them in your basement with cuffs and chains. This will ensure that NO ONE BUT YOU ever comes within 20 feet of contact...and they'll be UTTERLY SAFE.
I think that you'll find later in life though...they'll resent the dogshit out of you. BUT...THEY"LL BE SAFE!!!
