I agree but if you legalize weed that will piss off the cartel even more. The cartels would loose so much money it would create more violence. There has to be a balance...get it.

Im in Phoenix. I have a friend in New Mexico who often travels to Mexico to buy some pharmacy cheap. She said she saw the cartel guys riding down the middle of the street in a jeep with their heads in black hoods. They are brazen apparently and don't even try to hide. Said you have to pay them for protection ....or else. One dentist refused to pay and they found his severed head.

Wrong. Allow american farmers to grow it, modest tax, and the cartels woudl be out of business. Legalize ALL drugs, your harder ones, give for free at clinics, but offer counseling, and rehab. Those who receive ANY entitlement are tested, if you pop hot, entitlements GONE for one year min. Then, do a recall on ALL US currency to a new currency. ALL old US currency is no good within 30 days. Since the cartels hoard so much cash they would be doubly screwed. No money, no product, NOTHING... however Mexico would implode and we can't have that, now can we :sarc:

Nicholas Ivie, 30, was killed around 1:50 a.m. after he and two other agents responded to a sensor hit near mile marker 352 on State Route 80, the Border Patrol confirmed about 12:30 p.m.

I can no longer get to news stories via Google search without getting those damn redirects. Anyone know how to get around that? I have followed all the advice previously given, and keep getting that Scour shit and all. I use Ixquick Metasearch as a backup, but it just doesn't give you that much news coverage like Google.
Or, maybe someone can tell me of a better site to scan current news.

My condolences go out to the slain BP agent's wife, children and family. (my same feelings go out to all families of those who served and protected the USA in all branches of our military who died while serving our country)

We had a news break just now on a local channel here in Tucson where they did not give much information at all as it is an ongoing investigation.

It brought a tear to my eye when one of the head honchos made the statement that a husband and father was not coming home. He looked like he was going to shed a tear also.

My father worked for the BP for 17 years after serving in the Army for 28 years. He was never in the line of fire but I am still damn proud of him just the same.

To all of our BP agents in the field ... Keep kickin' ass and keep those scumbags out of our country!
