Here in the U.S. the American Medical Association (AMA) has urged our Federal Government to reclassify marijuana so that it could be used for medical applications because the evidence for it's medical benefits is overwhelming. It's currently listed as a Schedule 1 narcotic which means the Feds don't believe it has any medical uses but our largest and most reputable organization of Doctors says otherwise! |

The kid has a plastic cartridge attached to his body administering the oil, kinda took it too far it its just a placebo. The kid had the same treatment that all the other kids his age with his illness get. They all survived so did he, the marijuana made no difference as he would have survived anyway. Let's say you're right. It WORKED. Why try to debunk it? I myself use marijuana for musco-skelatal pain along with Niacin (look it up) from a birth defect. It has made a tremendous difference I can not even begin to describe. And by the way, I do not like being 'high'. But being a bit 'stoned' for about thirty minutes (I'm a one hit wonder, lol) once in a while for a day's worth of pain free living is worth it. And the best part- I'm not ingesting anything that will cause organ damage. Placebo or not, it is a win win situation. Please do some research before you post opinions. If THC content is significantly higher these days than it was several decades ago (FACT), why would studying subjects less than 60 years of age and a portion of which have smoked upwards of 22,000 times not find any marijuana-cancer connection??? They're smoking MORE POTENT marijuana than the 60+ year olds had access to and 22,000 times is the equivalent of smoking 2x a day for 20 years or 3x a day over 10 years. Why would the researchers find no connection when they are analyzing the group of heavy marijuana smokers who are smoking more potent cannabis? It's quite apparent you are either trolling or ignorant. I suspect the latter. |

When you're pumping weights you release levels of serotonin and dopamine that can be equatable to a "high". So in a way, you take drugs. The point I'm making is, don't be so dogmatic against something just because you can't enjoy it. I don't despise these stoners because they make some very valid points, and their drug of choice will harm no one. Unlike the opiods, amphetamines, and benzoephedrines the pharmaceutical industries pump out onto the street that keep people sick, underfed, and unhappy. And I haven't smoke marijuana in months because I've got too much to lose, but I was a much happier person when I did. I was able to sleep a lot more, and I never used the plant to get "intoxicated." |
