@jcab2002 Obama is a socialist. Nationalization of private businesses like GM and TBTF banks means that the government (who gets its money from taxpayers) bails them out. If you're for socialism, you're for bailouts and robbing Peter to pay Paul (welfare programs).

Corporate profits are up nominally but their profit margins remain the same. Because the Federal Reserve creates inflation to finance government spending, people pay more for goods and services. The inflation tax is the most regressive tax of all and I would call it trickle up economics.

Putting in more regulations will do nothing. The regulators themselves are bought and paid for. Seen anyone go to jail because of the financial crimes committed on Wall Street? I didn't think so. Want to end TBTF banks? Stop giving taxpayer money to the criminals on Wall Street and let the TBTF go under.
