And I'm 1/8th Native American so don't pull that shit on me! I'm sick to death of the past being constantly made present. Everyone keeps picking at the scab and never lets it heal because they are cowards! The Irish have a saying in boxing, "Looks like you've been hit. The gettin' up will be up to you!"

Get up!
 Quoting: Éireann

Segregation is a scab that is picked in living generations of the oppressors and the oppressed. If you're "sick to death of the past being present" tell Trinity to pull this:

battleflag

Hey it's a flag buddy and I for one am quite sick of apologizing for the white people in this country's past.

For your information, a very large number of white men died to give freedom to the slaves whose descendants are now so full of hate for white people.

The south was more than slavery. It was a culture with its own values and yes that very often included living amongst blacks, intermarrying with blacks, and being raised by black women. Does this make everything that happened in slavery ok? No! But a whole lot of bad shit happened to black people up north too, so people like you need to "get over" the confederate flag.

I live in Alabama. The confederate flag is flown here by very few individuals. 9 times out of 10, it is to incite anger, hate, a reaction or "to stand with pride" by people that have zero idea of a clue as to what the number of stars has to do with the number of states that seceded. They have never read Albert Pike and they are not aware of "the real world."

It is the same as black people wearing Malcom X symbols in teh 1990's; it was a statement of "F*** you" to the other race for reasons they don't/didn't understand.

The flag was misrepresented from the beginning and it is not an answer now.
