I've seen that map, have no idea where it originated from. Doesn't surprise me that it would end up in this thread, but just the same...you, being in Australia, may see this thread as being the same tired old b/s, but those of us that live near the New Madrid are watching all of this pretty closely.

I have no issues with people watching stuff- I have even less issues with people living near active faults informing themselves...

I just have issues with people actively bullshitting people- be it from ignorance (bad enough) or from actively misleading people(like many glp posters do)

but dredging up stuff from a quarter of a century ago and posting it as `new'

When and where did this map originate? ANYONE could have drawn this map, so I have always been skeptical about it.

Again -- can anyone give any info as to the map's origins?

interesting, I live on the north line of the fault, Ann Arbor Michigan.

All I hope is that they don't stop fracking because my electric bill went up from 200 dollars to 300 dollars in one year, and they are threatening it will be worse.

Won't be able to afford the gas bill for heating/dryer/cooking which will be at least 200 dollars a month in the winter AND electric bill...

The Macondo well that was drilled by BP is located at the tail end of the New Madrid fault.
this is a major problem for us.




I always thought the GOM OIL SPILL was an intentional act. I felt it could have been done to take off pressure from the New Madrid fault line and stave off a catastrophic EQ.

In addition, if you watch the documentary "GASLAND" you will see that most of these new wells are being placed in areas of geological stress and instability like in Wyoming(YELLOWSTONE) and Arkansas, etc. I believe the fracking is being done to also relieve geological pressures in high risk areas.

Most of the fracking is done to develop natural gas. This makes no sense as Nat. Gas is almost at a recent all time low in price. You know the gas companies are not altruists there is some other agenda going on here. Could they possibly be trying to maintain the geological integrity of the U.S. for as long as possible. I think so.

I am no geologist I have just used deductive reasoning here. So if the globe is expanding for some unknown reason(many have been given) it makes sense to me people in the know are aware of it and would try to maintain normalcy for as long as possible. Please see my first post.

Great thread with lots of valuable info. But you have to ask what is creating all the pressure that we are seeing being released from the gulf wells which ended in blow outs to the bubbling we are starting to see in more and more areas.

We need to look up. If you do we see pluto while moving away from the sun is heating up as well as all the other planets in the solor system. Why would we think earth would be any different. The earth is heating, hydrates are melting release natural gases and creating the tremendous pressures we see now destabelizing the gulf states and creating world wide EQ's and volcanic activities.

So the next question would naturally be what is causing the planets to heat up. A plasma Cloud that the solar system has entered into seems to be the answer with real science backing it up. sk

I agree as I think this is the best explanation. However, it has grave ramifications. The strange goings on around the globe is not the NWO coming to the fore, that is rather a cover. Rather it is a concerted effort by most nations to secure the world for what is to come. 911 was necessary to put the world on alert so these things could be done. It was also symbolic of the "ATLAS SHRUGGING" so to speak and also the 11th hour.

In the original accounts of the New Madrid quakes there was mention of lots of bubbling at various places in the rivers and gas let offs on dry land that gave a purple tint to the atmosphere.

I have often wondered if they were trying to run people away from the gulf coast by "directing" if you will all those hurricanes at fl a few years back ( charley etc) and of course Katrina and a couple of others.
