Warning * Birds in Illinois almost crashing into one another * Incoming earthquake?
My dad called me today to tell me he saw something crazy. Hes been looking at birds for over 50 years of his life and yesterday he was driving and saw one formation of birds going one direction and another formation going 180o in another almost crashing into each-other. What is this?? He lives in Illinois near Chicago.
Anyone else seen anything like this.ahhh

For all the replies that doubt any meaning of this. F.you.-and your sorry as* you dont know shT.
Birds use the earths magnetism to travel - ok so maybe not earthquake - but something - an OMEN or something like it. But birds don't just crash into each-other.

I live in Illinois. My wife is an avid bird watcher. Yesterday we had three gold finches fly into our window. We have had other birds, usually mourning doves, fly into the window many times but not finches. I thought it was odd...

I live in North Dakota and found odd to see geese fly north and west. There have been lots of flocks flying over north west directions. Usually they migrate to the south and away from any cold fronts. We are facing one right now with maybe up to half of foot of snow tomorrow. My husband thought it was strange too. They did seem confused in a sense. Maybe there is a magnetic shift happening where they dont even know where to go.

I've seen what you're talking about; it was the day before a major hurricane hit. I'd never seen birds act like that in flight before.

Check out this article:

Lost in migration: Earth's magnetic field overdue a flip

"Scientists say earth's magnetic field is weakening and could all but disappear in as little as 500 years as a precursor to flipping upside down.

It has happened before - the geological record suggests the magnetic field has reversed every 250,000 years,"

"In nature, animals which use the field could be mightily confused - birds, bees, and some fish all use the field for navigation."

500 years, holy potatoes!
