U.S. Border Patrol agent shot dead in Arizona, another wounded
A U.S. Border Patrol agent was shot dead and another wounded when they came under fire on Tuesday while responding to a tripped ground sensor in a drug smuggling corridor in Arizona near the border with Mexico, authorities said.

Authorities said three agents were on foot about 5 miles north of the border in rocky terrain when gunfire erupted well before daybreak, but provided few additional details on the circumstances of the violence.

"As they were walking up the trail, they reported taking gunfire," Cochise County Sheriff's spokeswoman Carol Capas said. "We have unknown suspect or suspects at this point."

Interesting that agent Terry, who the facility there is named after, died on a Tuesday as well in 2010.

In the same basic area.....

This is from another thread in 2010.

Another Border Patrol Agent shot & killed
[link to azstarnet.com]

"A Border Patrol agent was shot and killed Tuesday night after confronting a group of people near Rio Rico, officials said.

Agent Brian A. Terry died after the shooting, said Eric Cantu, a Border Patrol spokesman.

Terry was shot after he encountered several people near Rio Rico, Cantu said. At least four people are in custody Wednesday morning and officials said early today they continue to search for one more person in the case."

I wonder how many people have to die before the Government starts taking are border problem seriously?
Will it take the death of someone 'important' for action to be taken? The child of some elitist politician scumbag perhaps?

I searched 'border patrol' on glp and only found just a couple of threads....

can this be so?

is it of so little interest?

Oh, maybe it is under 'fast and furious'?

I think I should be looking under 'mexican troops' accidentally on american soil....it has happened...

several times!!!!!!!!!!!1

have been monitoring these things in the written media mostly...don't buy the paper any more, though.

Remember, folks, mexico will be a part of what the future holds for USA

Though many here on glp dislike anything called or associated with 'christians', do know that christian missionaries make a great information gathering network....

for instance,

I have known that communist china has had gurilla training camps in the remote areas of mexico since before2002....

I have known about the biometric RFID chip being used on african refugies. They must accept it to recieve food from the UN. IN the Sudan in 2008, where 'smart cards' had been used, the RFID chips were being inserted and the cards turned in....

By the way if you google about chipping, you will see that at about the same time, resorts in mexico were bragging about patrons taking the same chip so they could 'freely' move through the establishment without a purse, without a wallet, safely....

wake up america....

you are being groomed to hate mexicans, but it will be the chinese that are crossing at that border, it will be islamists from different countries crossing, it is latinos from other south american countries crossing....

ask a mexican...they will tell you THEY ARE NOT HISPANIC!!!!!

I have been told, that hispanic is used to refer to those from south america ONLY....

and I have seen a difference between the cultures and the peoples....

Corruption is corruption regardless of color of thier skin or nation of origin.
