The system is rigged no matter where you live. In the United States, we have an electoral college voting system that is based on the number of delegates who vote for any given presidential nominee. The popular vote means nothing when you're voting for any given president.

Votes count; the only way to influence government is to vote and encourage others to vote the same way. Telling people NOT to vote makes the system unrepresentative and unstable. Nobody, repeat, nobody, wins if the government becomes unrepresentative.

You're right. It was decided years ago. The only thing scarier than not having a voice is being tricked into thinking we do. We are powerless to stop what we don't see as dangerous.

We are trained to go like a good herd of sheep to the polling place and push buttons.

You could do that, but once the person disappears behind the voting curtain, you have no control over who is counting those votes, or eliminating certain ones and adding others.

I think it will be more rigged this time around so that Obama will be re-elected. The Democrats stop at nothing.
