I find it interesting that "not having a Facebook account" (may soon be added, and "using social media" are on the same list. The list that makes one a "potential" terrorist.
So if the line in the sand is "if you don't have a Facebook account" or "if you do have a Facebook account", you are a terrorist.

what does it mean to have "peculiar discussions??

My life is such an open book, anyone who's really studying me would understand where I'm coming from ...i.e.: 'she's not a threat to anyone.' Peculiar conversations? I'm probably on that list, depending on what they consider peculiar; I don't have the name 'esoteric' for nothing.

Since college, I have come to the conclusion that whether we are aware of it or not, our lives ARE an open book. No matter what agencies are doing this, as long as I continue to be myself, I have no fear.

IMHO, we live in a dangerous age, where it seems needful to decipher what could be brewing, that which warrants consideration.

It makes me feel safer, knowing that someone is looking out for dangerous signals. When I hear of rings being busted, and, the machinations of certain entities being nipped in the nick of time, I know it's better than having such people still at large.


I know that someone here is bound to chastise me for having such a nonchalant attitude about this, but, really: isn't this a 'to each his own' situation?


As I have stated, I am, an open book. I have no resources, I don't make trouble, nor, have I ever been in trouble. I do not have a troublesome circle of friends. We are largely a miss-mash group of artists and musicians, all rather meek and kindhearted people, who try to keep our eyes and ears open to the world around us. Why do I have to worry about being on some list? In this day and age, even someone passing you on the street has ways to track you, often for nefarious reasons. I WANT someone to get these people off the street.

If any of my activities places me on a terrorist list, they'd soon discover they are wasting their time. Whoever is watching KNOWS who I really am, how I spend my days and nights, and, is likely to keep on moving!
