Are u fecking drunk? Turkey has been waging the most cowardly of wars against Syria for almost a year now. I bear no hatred for the Turkish people, but the damage, the tremendous loss of Syrian life etc etc has to be accounted for. NATO has no business interfering here. Turkey has been the prime instigator all along.

I've been looking into what other posters in this thread have been saying. If they don't mention those tweets about chemical weapons, ect., how am I supposed to research and see if it's legit? I welcome all the bullshit, but they better make it look like it's just a tweet and not 100% confirmed news.

and it all goes back to obama and his rebels who created the instability in syria in the first place...his plan is going extreamly well whilst the world fails to see the blood is on his hands.

Turkey is kinda quasi-Nato. I've heard them say before that they wouldn't attack another Muslim country if they disagreed with the War.

Frankly I don't know why Turkey was allowed in NATO as most of the wars NATO will be fighting will be against Muslim countries. NATO needed the manpower though because Europe's military's are getting smaller and crapper every day. Turkey can field as many troops as France and Germany combined right now. Pretty sad that the West is now dependent on Turkey because the Euro countries would rather spend their money on communist programs that take care of Muslims and their dozen kids.

After all NATO stands for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Turkey isn't exactly the North Atlantic.

Frankly I think it's time for a new treaty. I know many will disagree with me on this but I think it's time for the USA to reach out to the Russians. They are only still our enemy because we consider them our enemy. In reality both Nations face similar problems and threats. Islam is #1. China is close behind. China may not be a huge threat to Russia now but keep in mind that an overpopulated China sits right below a barren Russia. When China does choose to expand Eastern Russia will be ideal.

Anyway currently in NATO the USA is providing the bulk of everything. Europe cuts more and more in defense every year because they know the USA has it's back. It's bullshit frankly.

Countries like Luxemberg and Bulgaria are in NATO. They provide almost nothing except a few troops and their air space and gain the protection of the large countries.

The new alliance should center around USA, UK, Russia, Germany (If they kick up their defense spending to ~2% of GDP).

I'd make 2% of GDP a requirement for defense spending. Currently the only countries doing that are the USA, UK and Greece believe it or not.

Oh yeah screw France. Last time we allied with them we liberated their country, gave them a huge say in the post-war enviornment, and those frog bastards kicked NATO out of France because they wanted more power. We should of let the Brits annex France like the USSR did to the countries they occupied. France can't be counted on as an ally even if they do have a decent military.
