Turkey Deputy PM Arinc says there must be response within international law to Syria mortar bomb
Quoting: DL Military retaliation is allowed by international law. Creating a pretext for "alleged" retaliation is against intl law. And also, the insurgents in Syria have been battling along the border now for weeks. It is just as plausible that insurgents lobbed the mortars into Syria to provoke Turkish reaction, as it is Syrian forces doing it to punish Turkey for harboring them.
