Not to know all means not to know. In order to know all, it is only necessary to know a little. But, in order to know this little, it is first necessary to know pretty much. G.I. Gurdjieff |

Turkey Green-Lights Military Action... ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24719572 Eat my shorts. What to play reporter?, play by the rules, bitch. Looks like everything you said was an epic fail... Ignore the tweets, and never just headline. When asked for a cite, comply. That's all. When shit is hitting the fan, there's no time for links when it comes to condemnation from leaders. It's not like I was quoting someone saying "we're about to nuke Syria." Come on! That's exactly the time to follow protocol in times of fast moving events. This thread has been very sloppy in that regard. I am still skeptical that Turkey (govt) and Syrian (govt) are on the verge. But specifically, alarming "rumors" of air base bombings, chemical weapons threats, and NATO "emergency" meetings and, yes, the interference of other countries leaders need to be cited and corroborated, to be especially sure. It's your thread so moderate it, dont make excuses... |

Thank you, i`m hoping that this wont turn into a war, anything can happen now. Imagine if ASSAD fires back ? With chemical weapons ? All these developments are looking really insane... If Assad uses chemical weapons, it could be the beginning of WW3. Peace for all |

That is exactly my fear in this. Syria has a lot of chemical weapons. If they feel backed into a corner, you never know. BTW-I lived in Ankara for 3 1/2 years and have fond memories of Turkey and the Turkish people. I especially love the food! I'm tired of waiting, somebody push the damn button already! I bear no hatred for the Turkish people, but the damage, the tremendous loss of Syrian life etc etc has to be accounted for. NATO has no business interfering here. Turkey has been the prime instigator all along. |

If they don't mention those tweets about chemical weapons, ect., how am I supposed to research and see if it's legit? I welcome all the bullshit, but they better make it look like it's just a tweet and not 100% confirmed news. |
