Here helping those that fall through the cracks is seen as the right thing to do and yes the system is creaking and it is abused by some but we try to fix it rather Han throwing it away. |

But at the same time if you believe that the GOP has not been hi-jacked by neo-con, police state, war mongering, over-spenders then you are no better than them. Quoting: Shazball Over spenders? I agree both spend too much compared to what is coming in, but "Fiscal Conservatives" seem to be the biggest spenders. Bill Clinton seemed to have the spending thing under control though. Well, Gingrich's Contract with America may have more to do with that... Not to mention that we had technology boom based on the internet... Clinton played minor role... Newt was thrown out before any real work was done but he is not shy about taking credit. What makes Clinton different is even with more money coming in he didn't go on a spending spree.
