Your post is very truthful. But at the same time if you believe that the GOP has not been hi-jacked by neo-con, police state, war mongering, over-spenders then you are no better than them.

I agree both spend too much compared to what is coming in, but "Fiscal Conservatives" seem to be the biggest spenders. Bill Clinton seemed to have the spending thing under control though. Clinton "balanced the budget" by spending the "Social security trust fund" as current tax income, and putting worthless IOUs in the "trust fund". Remember Al Gore saying he'd put SS payments back in a "lock box" that Clinton had looted to appear to "balance the budget"? So let's do a test here. Name just ONE politician that doesn't have his hands dirty. Just one....
