Re: What do you think about Lucifer?
LUCIFER was a brilliant primary Lanonandek Son of Nebadon.

He had experienced service in many systems, had been a high counselor of his group, and was distinguished for wisdom, sagacity, and efficiency.

Lucifer was number 37 of his order, and when commissioned by the Melchizedeks, he was designated as one of the one hundred most able and brilliant personalities in more than seven hundred thousand of his kind.

From such a magnificent beginning, through evil and error, he embraced sin and now is numbered as one of three System Sovereigns in Nebadon who have succumbed to the urge of self and surrendered to the sophistry of spurious personal liberty — rejection of universe allegiance and disregard of fraternal obligations, blindness to cosmic relationships...

Re: What do you think about Lucifer?
Lucifer is a title. Whoever is the "frontman" for evil is he that occupies this office.

THe only mention you see of "Lucifer" is in Isaiah 14. What is more significant to understand is what he is attempting to do in Isaiah 14. He is attempting to dispossess Jacob from his inheritance. Lucifer is saying "it shall be mine", looking directly at the people in verse 1 of Isaiah 14...He wants to claim something that is not his.

Isa.14
[1] For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
[2] And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

Lucifer is the bearer of light. Light is a metaphor for knowledge. Superstitious religions do not like enlightened people, because they do not swallow the swill. They like to keep people in the darkness of ignorance. So it is natural that they would attempt to demean and idea like Lucifer. Lucifer shines the light of knowledge into the dark corners of ignorance, where the superstitious cower in fear.

We live in upside down world.

Many on here follow him and they seem to be a nice bunch.

Now look at the other ones... Not so nice, they like to invoke fear as a means of control they like to convert control manipulate through fear of fire and brimstone lol.

I am still on the fence but leaning in his direction as well it makes sense as we live in upside-down world.

I say lean as in I would favour him to be the good one rebelling against the old rathful god...

Understand that Lucifer is attempting to TAKE BY FORCE and supplant the whom God has CHOSEN.

He is striving for something that cannot be contended for. Whatever light he has is reflected off the "losers". He believe he is better by "winning" against those that God chose.

Re: What do you think about Lucifer?
Lucifer was a common Latin name. Bishop Lucifer was a member in the early church. Jerome knew Lucifer, and used his name in the book of Isaiah to replace a Hebrew term in his Vulgate. The Lucifer we know today is a myth created from various pieces of medieval literature way after the time of Christ. Say you had a time machine to 50 AD....the odds are no Christian communities would know what or who Lucifer was. Satan on the other hand is a different kettle of fish.

Seriously, Lucifer the fallen angel is a rather modern construct. Mythology added to a common Latin name.
