On thing to note, if you go to the new USGS interactive map and zoom in on that fault line then pull that map towards the shore of oregon, you'll see a grid that looks VERY MUCH man made underwater.

There are volcanoes off the coast out there, and on the coast, they just haven't started erupting on land... Yet...



Look at all the quakes in Washington today. Wouldn't surprise me if there were some eruptions in the NW soon.
