during obama term and bush term both had gas at $4 for a few months.

Yes gas was only $1.84 when obama took office,, Under obama gasoline steadily increased in price and has never seen a reduction like during the last year of George Bush term in office.

I keep track in a daily log book so I can go look it when I need to.

gas prices were that low and I have proof in my filing cabinet,, I keep all gas costs on record , gallons bought and at what price and mileage driven weekly.

all for my business. everytime I fill my tanks I write it down in my daily log book along with the cost and how much I paid per gallon and write down the mileage of the odometer..
It also helps you keep track of how your vehicle is doing on MPG, had a spark plug going bad and it caused my MPG to drop by 2 mpg , replaced all plugs,wires and tune up helped me get better gas mileage.

Thank you! I keep a journal as well, but it is about boring stuff about life. Maybe I should make a note as to how much gas is every once in a while just for my info.

I have been keeping track of my mileage and gas usage for 15yrs in log books.. funny how you can look back and go OMG in 1987 gas was only 76 cents a gallon and in 1982 it was 54cents a gallon...LOL

I'm not exactly a US Constitutional scholar, but I'm pretty sure I didn't see anything in it (or the Bill of Rights) about cheap, plentiful transportation fuel for all...

Obama does not set the price of fuel or anything else. If anything, perpetual US meddling in the Middle East is the reason that gas prices are where they are, and that started long before Obama.

I support neither of the two idiots, but to say Obama inherited $1.84 gas is unfair. Highest gas prices ever were under Bush. His last term gas was consistently $3+. The sudden drop in gas prices in 2008 was because the markets were failing miserably. End of discussion.
