Well, it looks like this thread has died, which is unfortunate - some interesting data from Solar Son. There was no response to my query about Jesus surviving the Crucifixion, and it's probably irrelevant anyway. My own opinion has been for some time that the crucifixion was a scam designed for Jesus' and Mary Magdalene's escape to France.

However, the thrust of the thread seemed to me to center around preparing for death via exercises in lucid dreaming and astral travel. Can't argue with that, either...also recommended in Castaneda's "The Art of Dreaming", as well as many other sources. There also seemed to be elements of notions from "The Matrix" - blue pill, red pill, "reality" versus computer simulation (also other threads on this same topic), as well as notions from Robert Monroe, especially those concerning the production of Loosh.

There are some things I found lacking. First, the notion of enjoyment, and associated, a sense of humor. Also a singular lack of affection. Richard Bach in "Illusions" called us the "otters of the universe" and further suggested we consider our human existence here as theater. He's not unique in that. Jed McKenna likes that same analogy, let alone several Eastern philosophies.

The point is, imho, to see this whole gig for what it is (maya), opt for the cigar, red wine and rare steak, have a good time and enjoy ourselves, and prepare for death.
