This is a very interesting thread. I haven't had much time to read it, but being a non-spiritual or maybe its non-believer (I'm the definition of a fence sitter) I find the concept of what you are saying fascinating. Its safe to say the first few posts of yours hit home... For some reason.

I'd like to say thanks for your posts. Especially recently regarding lucid dreaming.

is it safe to say dreams won't show you the answer (I guess I use answer as a buzzword), but if you can control them, it can be found?

Lucid dreams can show you the "answers". You can also learn to re-visit other dreams to understand their true symbolic meaning. I reccommend you the book "Conscious Dreaming" by Robert Moss, it is exactly on this topic

Do people not reincarnate after death?

And when someone dies, do their souls remember what they had learned while in physical form? Even enough to possibly be able to leave the material existence behind and ascend to higher dimensions? Or is there something that keeps us from that?

The Creator created us by extending Itself. God only creates 'like' Itself - how can It possibly create anything except what it is? Even the Bible says it: the same well cannot give forth both sweet water and bitter water.

I have no recollection of what happens between incarnations. But I know that the way to freedom is to be free of the belief in karma, and that the goal is to be free of the cycle of reincarnation.

Apologies for my absence. What practice would you recommend to break the grip that slave-stamps ("money") has on me? I am frustrated that my spiritual path to within is frequently disturbed by monetary concerns regarding something that I know is just a delusion.

Over the past decade I've allowed migranes, fixations, compulsions, illness, and an alcohol-addiction to disappear from my experience. Yet this money-monkey remains.

I used to do Lucid dreaming a few years ago, and that was pretty easy for me. I've never had a desire to astral-project or OBE, though. I'm not really interested in going anywhere other than within, seeking a connection to the higher/deeper/true-self. Could Lucid dreaming help? What would I seek in a Lucid Dream regarding this matter? I'm sure I could be lucid dreaming again in a short while, if I set my intentions toward it, again.
