So, why, if the Bible is divine, do so many Christians ignore the parts in Moses' law (the first 10 being the 10 commandments) about eating shellfish, stoning unruly children, not wearing linen and wool at the same time in church and slavery? Or how about the Hebrew's killing everyone that didn't worship their God (except for the young virgins)? And why was it okay for men to have concubines? I'm very curious about these issues because if the Bible is indeed divine then all the above mentioned should be observed.

it seems to me that someone is always pointing to a prediction made in the bible as indisputable proof. anyone can foresee the destruction of an empire, because history will inevitably back them up.

political entities rise and fall, and that is the way of it.

each of these biblical predictions utilize timelines that are subject to interperatation.

i could say that the influence of the usa will end in the world.

at some point history will prove me right but i am certainly no mystic, sage, or prophetic psuedo-deity.

not that so called atheists don't kill either.

the bible is about freeing mankind and the result of not following simple clear instructions befitting that time.

the seed of abundance, manna.
first commandment tablets were broken.
second never truly followed.

"timelines"??? ...Uh,no... we know when Daniel was written - also, ever heard of the dead sea scrolls - these we written centuries before their fulfillment - Just watch the first video, then do some research.
