Should I leave her?
I know this isn't a dating forum but im gonna post this here anyway hoping some kind individual would help steer me in the right direction. And besides i've read worse on here

I met this girl at work back in January and we seemed to hit it off well. We liked talking to each other, hanging around with one another, had shit loads in common, and there was definately some chemistry between us. However I wasn't the only person she met at this job(of course). She met another boy, I call him a boy cause he's only 19 and shes 25. When they first met she told me she didnt want to have a relationship with this boy, and only wanted to be friends with him. This "boy" is one stinky bastard. He doesnt wear deodorant, overweight, going bald, and always pissed off at everything, among other things. 10 months later and i'm still single and she is now going out with this boy. Dont ask me how it happened but it did. I got nothing.

This boy is an asshole. As i said he's always pissed off, he has made fun of her on several occasions, he called her son gay(which really pissed her off), he has physically harmed her(by accident mind you) several times. Even though she said she didnt want a relationship with this "boy", she is now in a committed relationship with this boy.

Now this pisses me off for a number of reasons. The last female friend I had was 12 years ago and it lasted a month. I never hit it off with women. I have ZERO confidence with relationships because I havent had very many. Im an introvert by nature and im horribly shy so it takes me a while to open up to people. By the time I get comfortable enough with women they move on to someone else and it gets horribly lonely and depressing. I made the mistake of confessing to this girl that I did have feelings for her but apparently it went in one ear and out the other. She never said she had feelings for me, but she never said she didnt either. I still hang out with this girl, and she wants to hang out with me, quite regularly actually. She says she values our friendship and doesn't want me to stop hanging around with her. Doesn't want to stop being "friends". She flirts like crazy with me, uses sexual innuendo, even tries to poke me and touch me in various places. She says she gets bored all the time and wants company and yet when I go over to see her, he is always there.

This is where my problem lies. I have fallen in love with this women. Even before she started "going out" with this other thing. I have never had a love before so this is all new to me. Yes, im 27 and a vigin. The problem is I want a significant other so bad that whenever they are together and i happen to be there, i feel like shit. I feel like they are both mocking me, teasing the fuck out of me and its starting to get to me. It makes me feel about 1 cm tall. She knows I like her, she knows im a virgin, he knows i like her but he doesn't know im a virgin. So therefore since she knows this and it seems they are deliberately doing this in front of me, well lets say it gets horribly depressing. It makes me wonder why I even tried in the first place

I'm so confused, depressed, and alone right now. I want a significant other so bad its all i think about and to come that close, only to get the shaft really sucks ass. I dont want to stop, but I feel that sooner rather than later im going to POP and all this is going to come out anyway, regardless if he's present or not. I dont want to explode while he's there because it would not turn out well for him or me but if I dont figure something out soon, something is going to pop. 12 years of pent up frustration, anger, resentment, jealousy, etc is going to come out all at once

My questions are these. What should I do? I really do like this woman but I cant stand this guy. If she asks to hang out should I say no? I don't get to spend time with alot of women, especially one that seemed interested in me, so naturally im going to say yes. If I say no, should I explain why to her and see what she says, confess if you will? Should I just lie to her and make some excuse up? Should I just stop talking to her all together? If I did that then I would be alone and back to square one. Should I ask her why she keeps inviting me over to her place?

any advice would be kindly appreciated

You really should value yourself a lot more than you do. She is not good for you or your self-esteem. I care about you and wish the very best for you. And you need to be around people that truly DO care about you. Stay away from both of them. I think it would be good for you to learn a martial arts are get into some sort of hobby where you are around people that have better values and morals. Read books about meditation as well. Don't worry about finding a girlfriend right now. Develop yourself and all else will follow.

Oh geez OP I can just picture your situation - you expressed it so well.

Forget about this girl! No don't tell her anything. Act like you don't care. And forget about her. I know that will be hard to do but she's playing with your feelings. Be confident and know that you are worthy of much more than this girl, who quite frankly, sounds horrible. You on the other hand, sound like a really nice guy and somebody special who is right for you will come along.

Because everyone is talking about the debate tonight, you probably wont get a lot of responses, so I'll try to help you out because you seem like a nice guy.

I will answer each question you have.

What should I do? See my responses below, but ultimately you should confess your feelings or should stop contact with her. Try to get a clear answer so you don't have to struggle and wonder.

If she asks to hang out should I say no? Say Yes if she asks, you said you love her.

If I say no, should I explain why to her and see what she says, confess if you will? Say Yes, but if you say no, then explain it's because she is in a committed relationship and you don't wan to interfere.

Should I just lie to her and make some excuse up? Never lie!

Should I just stop talking to her all together? If it hurts too much, yes. It's very difficult to remain friends when there is true love. It will only make you feel more despair and sad you if maintain contact with her. She's in a relationship, so I suggest you focus on your life and possibly be open to someone new.

Should I ask her why she keeps inviting me over to her place? That is a fair question. Yes.

Re: Should I leave her?
You really, really, really, really need to make new contacts with new girls and forget about this girl.

She is not the loyal type, or the caring type, or sensitive enough. Some of that could be her age BUT ppl like that take years and years and years to change even IF they are going to.

You deserve better, but you need to try dating sites or something. You need to look carefully at the substance of the person and not so much at the looks. Like a guy, you are prob too motivated by looks and that's what is jamming you.

Stop going over to her house/ She and that guy are complete jerks for having fun at your expense. Since you work with her, you need to avoid any conflict/drama but you need to separate yourself. Dont give her a chance to toy with you or prod you. She is not interested and would just toss you over anyway.

Good luck! I feel sorry for you but it's best that you didn't get started with an insensitive, disloyal, and/or immature person in the first place. These ppl are pitfalls but a person of substance will enhance your life and help you grow happily.

This

just mark it up to a lost cause

and go on

there are other women in this world. Maybe find one more mature.

It sounds like there could be some maturity issues with that one and could make you miserable in the future.

Everything happens for a reason.

When I was younger and single, I used to mope over a certain lost man.

As I look back on it today. Was I stupid. That man would have been horrible to me and I would have been an abused wife and it would have ended in divorce.

Realize OP, if a relationship was meant to be ; it will be easy and there will be no guessing games involved..

OP, you're not going to find yourself in a successful relationship with a woman until you learn how to tell women like that to shove it. In my opinion, the louder and more confidantly you can tell her to shove it, the better off you will be.

Your issue is your own self-confidence. Until you find that confidencwe, avoid women like this like the plague. Friendship? Fuck that! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

First of all stop any connection with this girl and boy. They will just ruin your life. A girl like that will only spell trouble, even if you "hooked up" she would be the kind that would not be faithful.

Be strong in this even if she acts up or "cries". She might just be playing with you or doing this to get you to become jealous or to come out of your "shell" by provoking/manipulating you to get angry to see how much you really want her or "love" her. Stop the friendship and let her be the loser and get stuck with the stinky guy.

Not recommended, vent out all you anger in front of them both, maybe you will surprise yourself as well as them both as you come out of your shell and vent all the frustration pent up in you. Or they might just laugh at you and you will feel ten times worse.

Better way, if you have to vent out, do it in the woods or in your home alone. God will hear you.

Best way, confess your problems to God/Jesus Christ. Tell Him how you feel and ask Him to help you be the man He wants you to be and to find a wife for you. Ask Him to lead you to people or a Church where you can get help. Focus on getting your life together and come out with other people with common interests/hobbies etc. and who knows what that will lead to. Now you have to talk to God/Jesus Christ about this, actually pray to Him and see who He will bring into your life as an answer to your prayer.

If you are looking for a girl that wants to be faithful or virgin too you might want to look for them at the right places. Ask Jesus Christ to come into your life and be your helper. He can change you from the inside.

Re: Should I leave her?
You need a Constanza moment. Everything you have done so far needs to come to an abrupt halt. You need to do exactly the opposite.

When she wants you to go to her house, you walk away without a word as if you do not care at all.

I know this seems counter intuitive.

But you will find her chasing you.

To succeed you take this all the way until she initiates the first kiss.

Then you bring it home.

Duuuuuude why the fuck are you posting this shit on GLP ? why the fuck do people keep posting these stupid corny ass threads about relationships and "should I leave her". Your post is ridiculous and ten times worse. Why do you post all your expletives, nobody needs or benefit from that. It is your post that is what you call his post.

Re: Should I leave her?
OP i just went through a similar thing.
Got treated like shit but didn't want to let it go for similar reasons.

It will be hard but i think you should tell her how you feel, then let her loose/detach yourself. I doubt she will be willing to change her ways for you, and theirs no point expecting her to or you'll just end up in more heartache.

Tell her, see what her response is....More than likely you will be disappointed with this response then use that anger to help you push on and move on.

Most of all, THIS IS NOT A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP for YOU!

Grow some confidence and end it, Wish i did the same years ago. You will feel a massive weight of your shoulders as soon as you do this.

Re: Should I leave her?
OP, you're not going to find yourself in a successful relationship with a woman until you learn how to tell women like that to shove it. In my opinion, the louder and more confidantly you can tell her to shove it, the better off you will be.

Your issue is your own self-confidence. Until you find that confidencwe, avoid women like this like the plague. Friendship? Fuck that! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
