Yes I drove from San Diego to Burbank yesterday. Crazy criss-cross patterns all over the sky. It was so noticeable that it couldn't have been an accident IMHO. The other thing I noticed was all incoming planes seemed to "turn on the spray" as they approached the LA area. You could physically see when it began shooting out. Also, you could see them falling. They would start as very thin lines in the sky and get bigger and bigger as they came down. The other noteworthy point is how they seemed to hold there shape all the way down...Seemed unaffected by winds/breezes.

Very noticeable grid type pattern all over the sky.
