Is life a game???
If you guys bare with me i'll try to explain this. For the past few weeks i've really been in touch with my higher self. Since i've made it clear to him/her that I want to sort things out and want to know why i'm here, my dreams have been strange.

Why are they strange? They are very lucid, very real, very emotional and always about the time in my life when things went wrong!

What went wrong? When I was 14/15 I started to get bullied by one guy in particular, his name is Paul. The bullying came out of the nowhere, i'd been in great form and had started to get really really confident. Confidence is something I wasn't used to because I had a bad childhood but thats a different story. So I never knew this guy had a problem with me and I didn't understand why he was doing this and saying the things he was saying.

What was he saying? That I was gay, that was the main point. I'm not which made made my life so confusing. And any time he'd say something to me in front of the class every other person in the class would laugh. I know one reason they would laugh is because they were afraid of him, but it was soul destroying! So anyway i began to skip class and developed all sorts of phobias, 10 years on and i'm still trying to put my life together.

So back to the dreams....

They are always about school! My friends are there and while i'm asleep I feel the way I did back then before the bullying. In one of the dreams I ask a friend, "why are you still at school its been 10 years now, and why is Sarah still here isn't she a Doctor now?" He say's "man I really think your going crazy"!!! And I wake up questioning things!

So the dreams Paul is in... I'm in Pauls class in the dreams, he doesn't say anything to me and to be honest he seems like an OK guy. We go about our business in the dreams but we never talk and he seems to ignore me. I wake up but the hate I have for him is still there, this guy ruined my life!

Lasts nights dream!!!

Honestly in my dream I think I spent a whole full day at school. So Paul is there in my class still ignoring me but I feel like a different person now. I catch his attention by staring at him, he looks at me and I just keep staring as if to say "don't even fucking think about picking on me i'm a different person now"... And he doesn't say anything, not only that but he seems like he didnt ever intend to. So i get really confused, he seems like a totally different guy! So after school i'm walking past him in the hall and I flash my scars at him from my suicide attempt. I want answers now! When we get outside I finally confront this dude after 10 YEARS... And this is interesting, this is why i'm posting here.

This was the exact dialogue...

Me: Why did you bully me?

Paul: To level out the playing field, you were to far ahead! (telepathically at same time: I knew you'd ask eventully)

he stats to walk away...

Me: What do you mean, please tell me??

Paul: I can't I have to go i'm sorry. (telepathically at same time: i'm not allowed to say)

So I wake up and the first thoughts in my head are. 1) What the fuck just happened! 2) That was not a dream!

I don't know how to explain how real that felt. The dreams about school are so consistant, so steady, it doesn't matter what I think about, it wont manifest in the dream. I'm living those moments and nothing dreamlike happens, its just as it was when I was in school. Even down to the craving cigarettes (i smoked a lot at school).. In the dream I smoke and I can feel the craving in the dream but I wake up and i'm fine. What the f**k is going on!? I'm starting to thing maybe i did acid in school and this world is me tripping balls!

Seriously though what do you all think about the dialogue between me and Paul? Playing field, is this a game and why could he not say more? Why are my dreams so real, i mean they start off at morning and go all through the school day without anything unusually dreamlike happening!?

I hope i've made sense here, thoughts would be appreciated thanks...

What kind of game?
 Quoting: LDreamer100

I believe that either we are being guided or controlled by higher beings. These higher beings are either masters of us, or a part of our higher self.

This is a test we are in, or a game, for experience.

For us, it may seem boring or mundane, but for them the nuance and the possibilities make it very exciting.

I am leaning towards the guiding side, and it fits with many religions and studies.

Some peoples role in life is to murder someone, go to jail and then face death row.

Others are meant to toil at a regular job, have 2.2 kids, and live in the burbs.

To the entities above, both offer the same level of excitement and intrigue.

Being in these situations, it's their goal to get you to understand how to be a better you. Again, this doesn't mean becoming nicer, or helping, or becoming more violent, but how to guide your physical self to enact changes to achieve your goals.

It's a very difficult thing to do, but was much easier when you were younger when you did it without thinking, but now you have to do it and consciously think about it. It's akin to train your mind to not think about the word 'elephant' when asked not to.

Further, when you go too far astray things will happen that will put you back on track. They may appear to be good or bad, but again that is subjective and the goal is to not necessarily make your life better, but put you on track to the understanding.

And while you may be a murderer on death row, or a 9-5er, you still have the opportunity to change to almost whatever role you like, as long as you stay on the path to understanding. And that understanding is how to train your mind to manipulate this world and enact physical changes on the world non physically.

So, after all this, I probably am put on some nut list, but I believe more and more this is the truth.

When somebody is bad for you and seams to destroy your life, you can watch at it not as like on a game, but like on a training! You can say to you: Ok, he is my trainer! He wants to show me, that I am as good as him, even if he trys to destroy me. My chance is, to learn, how to fight him and how to win.
Life is not a game, but you can learn, how to manage it, that it is ok for you.
You could try to understand, what he learned to you!
You are not the looser, maybe he is!

well, here's my hint at how to succeed. You need to start listening to that little voice in your head.

These things are nothing new. some call it your conscience, it has been depicted as an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. As for the dream, it too is old, so goes the song that life is but a dream.

I do not encourage violence, but try listening to the voice. If it encourages big things then that's likely you overriding it. Usually it is very small insignificant things. Like to put your tie in a certain spot, or to sit a particular way, or when you are working to focus on a small area. It's hard to explain, but they are very minor things, but if you listen then you can see later why you were supposed to. Soon you will see that how you think and act affect the physical world. Again, this is not new. From ancient religions, to sesame street, to Tony Robbins, the idea of using the power of thinking to effect change is all around. Some may differ on the roots of it, but most believe it's effects.

No matter what you are doing, you can listen and here what to do next. Some go too far. There are drugs for anger, depression etc. that can encourage this too quickly and people mistake listening to detachment. That's when they try suicide. On these bottles they indicate that if you 'feel yourself moving away or detaching from yourself' to discuss with your doctor. This is not a bad thing if you just listen, but if your mind overrides this detachment and starts making crap up, that's when you decide to jump off a cliff.

You can also communicate but be careful, as you are always communicating. So if you think 'my life sucks' then it will as the communication is between 2 different levels and it's hard to differentiate sarcasm so the higher self creates a sucky life for you.

All that I say can be explained away rationally, so it's up to you to believe if true or not.

Interesting---it would be about you and only you, so how did it make you feel?

Is your life ruined or are you back on track and possibly a more compassionate person?

In my observations people react to me with their preconceived notions of what they believe--like I'm playing a role for them, but what they experience and perceive is not true, at least it is not me.

I would guess the person who bullied you was not aware at all what he did to you or how it impacted you. Your reaction and your conclusions were all about you, not him. He may or may not have been used to bring this awareness to you.

Consider the possibility that in a prior life you bullied someone that you were unaware of, or that you needed to be more compassionate.

Regardless of the "truth" make the most of what you have and know an feel, be the best version of you that you can be--

Remove yourself from it being personal, any of us could be the catalyst for a person to go over the edge without even knowing what role we played.

In the end you must be responsible for the lessons learned, really cool that you can remember so much of your dreams?

Did you always remember them? I find taking vitamin b-6 makes it easier to remember dreams, and it never makes any sense that they are so vivid--I just can't believe that my brain could make up so many details--buildings, rooms, furniture--all stuff I've never seen before--it must exist somewhere....

Just make sure whatever conclusions you come to that you move forward in a positive light, don't let them bring you down--

I like to believe we are here for a reason.

Glad your suicide attempt was not successful.

It honestly made me even more confused than I was before. I felt like he was telling that it wasn't him and someone else was pulling his strings.

I'm getting back on track now :-) But thats the thing about me, i've always been really sensitive and compassionate. There was an undertone of 'Good vs Evil' when he said "level the playing field", I felt that was the meaning! I just didn't want to say before read a few peoples thoughts. My understanding was that the bullying was to make me a bit evil and dark because I was too innocent and that the bullying was to "level out the playing field"... I'm very confused!

Maybe I did bully someone, I wouldn't rule it out. "you were to far ahead" what does that mean?

I do remember a lot of my dreams. I think just wanting to remember dreams is a big step and knowing that they can contain messages will let your subconsious know you want to consciously remember. In the past few weeks since i've 'connected' with my higher self my dreams have gotten clearer, with more meaning and I remember them easily without any herbs or vits! Try Gotu Kola, its a herb and its great for lucid dreaming or just remembering dreams. And then theres Calea Zacatechichi (the dream herb) I've used it twice and its amazing! I've heard negative things about it but in my opinion it works 100%, i got almost an overload of information and thats when I got the message that I needed to take the 'higher self' thing more seriously and actually try to connect. But if you want to skip all that i'd suggest this, ask your higher self to connect with you in your dreams and really want it in your heart.

I agree, that it must exsist somewhere. For me to have so many dreams about school that last all day for a few days in a row must mean something. Have you ever had recurring dreams like this?

Re: Is life a game???
When somebody is bad for you and seams to destroy your life, you can watch at it not as like on a game, but like on a training! You can say to you: Ok, he is my trainer! He wants to show me, that I am as good as him, even if he trys to destroy me. My chance is, to learn, how to fight him and how to win.
Life is not a game, but you can learn, how to manage it, that it is ok for you.
You could try to understand, what he learned to you!
You are not the looser, maybe he is!

It could be a master/pupil situation. If thats what this is, it was a harsh lesson!

Re: Is life a game???
Here are my two cents.
There are many things in life we don't know about, be careful when you open the pandora box, because later you won't be able to close it. What you find inside is too much to handle. I am older, and I've seen how this new ideas can eat your brains if you can't handle them.
My best advice is don't over think it, do some mundane work to give yourself a rest, and don't do drugs because they make things worse.

Its to late, that box has been open a long time! I can keep my feet on the ground though don't worry, i'm very cautious when it comes to this kind of thing. I will do that though :-) And thankfully I don't do drugs or i'd be long gone lol.

Re: Is life a game???
Hey OP!

I recall a great number of my dreams, had many lucid experiences, and lately they have been overwhelmingly about school! In my dreams I am an adult back in school ... when these dreams began a few months back I was realizing I had forgotten homework or had forgotten my class schedule, all the while I was revisiting social lessons, meeting class mates I have not thought of in years!

The more I have focused on these dreams, the more lucid they have become, spending entire semesters in school during the course of a dream. AMAZING! During my waking hours I have analyzed these dreams, and began realizing that this life, this planet, is one giant SCHOOL!

This revelation as caused my dreams now to be more focused on 'Graduation', 'Final Exams' or just looking forward to class being let out for the day.

CONCLUSION: My higher consciousness is communicating with me through my lower consciousness via these dreams, allowing me to revisit the lessons I have learned through this 'School Experience', preparing me for the moment 'school' is out for summer! These dreams of school are simply an analogy for the school of life, and we are about to be given the chance to GRADUATE - but in order to walk the stage and receive our diploma, we must pass the final exam, which we prepare for by revisiting all the lessons we have learned throughout our school career (our entire life on this planet).

Thoughts?

Yep just like politics. But people are delusional and think we have a choice of who gets into power.
