Classic Obama - CLASSIC
Last night Obama talked about how much his administration had done to "fix" the mortgage crisis by discouraging subprime loans.

Well the RECORD says otherwise! My husband noted this and we both wish Romney had brought it up. In 2008 Obama CAMPAIGNED on the idea that everyone should be able to "participate in the American dream" of home ownership.

Here is just one link attesting to Obama's 2008 position and what he did as President to make it happen.

A few snippets:

"Obama: 'Nothing more fundamental than owning a home.'"

Referring to his choice of a new HUD secretary:

"He understands that we need to move past the stale arguments that say low-income Americans shouldn't even try to own a home..."

and

"He knows that we can put the dream of owning a home within reach for more families..."

Last night this guy stood up in front of the American people and took zero responsibility for his role in the mortgage melt-down crisis that has wrecked many many lives in this country, INCLUDING the many families who were given subprime loans.

Here's another link, related to ACORN's involvement in sueing banks to force subprime lending.
