I think americans are biased on many issues regarding presidents. And this is going to stop them voting in great people. They are very naive. Id put it that way. Lets hope they can fight for what they believe. And infact not, turn into brits, forever moaning .

They were smiling and laughing. But obama handled it quite well - alot better than i expected . I saw romney if anything as nervous. His hands flying around like a preacher.

Well yes, i think many want obama out. Namely, those who claimed he was ill, scared, and tired during the debate. To me he seemed more confident than hes ever been.

I don't like either candidate - but I agree that Obama won this debate. He was composed, gave actual answers and stuck to the topic.

Romney wasn't any of those things. All he wanted to do was attack Obama.

I did appreciate that Lehrer kind of gave up and let them go at it back and forth. Obama did make a few digs at Romney that I felt were petty and unnecessary. But overall, Romney was going with the vote for me because I'm not Obama strategy. I don't vote that way.

I vote for the best person for the job. Romney gave me zero reasons why he would be better, only how he wouldn't be worse. Obama at least admitted to some of his failings, and didn't seem very happy with the results of things that are actually kind of going well. He seemed to acknowledge there's a lot left to do.

I'm still not voting for either of them. If I had my way - I'd put no republicans and no democrats back in office. I'd like to see the people vote in nothing but the alternative parties.

But for the debate - Obama won.

I think obama does mean - change. But clearly this doesnt cover everyones view of what change is, should come into fruition. Yeah, im the same i saw obama as cool as a cucumber and winning. But romney had invalueable points. Still didnt stop him from losing however. For those who have stated that romney gives hope. I see your points. But obama has been groomed for the job. Obama was looking at his notes, smiling and calm. And yes he is going to decide the future for america . I didnt say romney is bad, ive always said that romney business wise would launch the usa. However, as far as power goes its firmly with obama.

Me the op have also always said that romney is more genuine. But politics, is chess, so it depends on whom is backing you.

As the POTUS with an economy in the tank, debating for his job he shouldn't be constantly staring at his notes he should be speaking from his heart and the truth, both of which he doesn't seem to have. He also did't have his teleprompter is more likely the reason he kept looking at his notes which is very amatuer. The US would probably be better off with the teleprompter as their POTUS.

WHen even goofy James Carvell of CNN says he looked like he didn't want to be there and Bill Maher one of his most avid supporters tweets that he obviously is lost without a teleprompter, then you know that Obama did not win anything.

Also notice that when Romney was speaking, he always looked at President Obama. When Obama spoke it was looking at the moderator or just looking down.

He definitely did not win the debate and looked weak and ineffectual. Hardly Presidential at all....just looked like a guy who would rather be golfing.
