BRKNG: Erdogan Says Another Mortar From Syria Falls In Turkey, Can’t Be Accident

With all things, we are wise to ask the timeless question:

Cui bono?

To whom the benefit?

Israel would stand to benefit the most from a conflict between NATO and Syria.

And all it would take would be a few well placed mortar shells.

We cannot rule out any party as the source of the shelling.

And I for one would sure as hell not rule out Israel. They have the most to gain.

- Iran declares that it will support Syria and send troops or militants to Syria
- Long, long war... start
- Iran nuclear facilities attacked by Israel
- Iran retaliate to Saudi Arabia, Katar and NATO fleet and bases in Persian Gulf
- Islamist attack Israel. Islamists intensify gathering militants against Israel and West. Egypt join Syria, Iran coalition.
- Clashes spread to Iraq, puppet Iraqi government collapses.
- All region deep into war of all against all.

You forgot some mess with the Kurds in this area...

I saw on the tweets that the Turks had their radar on. My guess is they triangulated the firing point. Now who was there...nobody knows.

I still think they are spoiling for a fight because the refugees being shot at by whomever.

He made a proportionate response, and has wisely withdrawn his population back from the border.

Notice -- again -- how Erdogan was making a joint statement with the vice president of Iran(!) to break today's newest shelling incident.

The Turks have made it clear they will defend their borders, and Erdogan suggested no one test that resolve.
