FIRE IN THE SKY.
There was a special hour and a half episode of Paranormal Witness last night about the story behind the movie "Fire in the sky"

I have seen the movie, I knew the story, but it was still a good show last night.

what do you all think of this case? I mean they all passed a lie detector. I mean I guess it's possible it was all a hoax, but the fact they passed multiple lie detector tests really makes me think it wasn't a hoax.

It is still to this day one of the most fascinating cases of alien abduction.

Please feel free to give your opinion, or share any supporting data or videos.

Thanks!

I think it's a legit story. Travis Walton says he has passed 5 separate lie-detector tests administered by different individuals and that the other men involved in the incident have passed as well....

On rare occassion one person may be able to fool a polygrapher but 5 individuals all connected to the same 'story'? Not a chance.

Re: FIRE IN THE SKY.
I happened to watch the program you referenced, as well. And it was really informative.

I have followed this particular story in particular for decades and I've yet to sense 'hoax'.

The polygraph evidence alone (in its unanimous positivity) is solid enough for me. I read the books, watched the movie(s) and have listened to countless hours of testimony of all involved and I sincerely feel that something other-worldy did, in fact, take place.

The 'pilot's chair' was an amazing revelation to me personally. And the way it was presented in last night's recreation really brought to me a reality of witnessing something grand.

The hangar of craft was also something unusual. And the hybrids (my interpretation) are something to be considered as very curious. ( I was once considering the hybrids were actually the 3 'alien doctors' that left Travis in the operating room and they had simply changed appearance at will to calm him down) A possibility perhaps...and perhaps that's why we don't 'see' them because they look like us when they 'need to'.

The man in the space suit has always concerned me. What was his purpose? Evidently Travis didn't need a suit of any kind to be where he was...why would the Hybrid?

And I imagine I, like so many others at the time, thought the single puncture wound in his right arm was the smoking gun to the entire mystery. It seemed plausible that (considering the era in which this event took place (1970s), Travis simply got ahold of some serious heroin, injected himself with a powerful hit and just tripped it all.....It had all the earmarks of a classic heroin OD close call.

Of course, this has to be dismissed due to the polygraph evidence....

Still one of the finest abduction accounts in history...

That's what I'm thinking.

If you are interested check out the Paranormal Witness from last night. It was good.

Re: FIRE IN THE SKY.
It really happened...with the exception of the "horror scene" that they provided in that movie. Travis Walton was angry that they had even suggested that his "captors" were aggressive.

You can choose to believe what you want, but, none of those guys would have had ANY REASON whatsoever to fabricate an abduction.

In my opinion...the case is old, finished, and ancient history. I would simply...move on.
watching the "run up" to the elections and the "hopes and dreams" that are built as a result is like watching a dead mouse that is still able to make his exercise wheel go around because his nerves are still twitching that familiar motion...

Yes, I too thought the humanoids could of been the original 3 "greys" he had initially seen.

Or a different race of alien, like Nordic?

As for the one in the suit, I thought maybe that was their way of making him feel as if he was being rescued. So that he would immediately trust that entity?

Fascinating stuff.

Well, what I watched last night, had an interview with travis. He was telling the whole story. He didn't make it seem like they were benevolent..

Yes put your faith in lie detectors, they are accurate and reliable.
Polygraphs are bogus.

Re: FIRE IN THE SKY.
I live in Texas and we see UfO in distance every other night several of us do maybe because we have such an open space to view all the stars with nothing blocking the view i dont know what it is but I have had a close up encounter about 9 years ago on my land and was very frightened I havent talked about it for a while my friends they make fun of me but it was real and my husband witnessed the red lazer beam it shot at me as i ran from it the tree it was above is perfectly groomed and its very weird looking wish i knew of a group i could talk to that was real and not people making stuff up
The lazer looked like one of those things you point at the ground and the animals chase it but a little bigger if anyone knows about this device please tell me why they shot it at me when i ran

Re: FIRE IN THE SKY.
I've never seen it so I don't know what it's about... I'm assuming from the comments that it's about alien abductions?

If that's the case, then yes, I believe it's true.

My boyfriend and I have been a witness to 2 UFOs.. and once you see one for yourself, there's no more denial left.

although I don't think the greys were scared. It seemed like they didn't really want to scare him anymore.

It's an older movie, from the 90's. But the show I watched last night was paranormal witness on sci fi.

It is based on a supposed true story. To me, one of the most credible abduction cases ever.

If you have netflix, the movie is on there.

Re: FIRE IN THE SKY.
I'll have to watch The Abduction when it becomes available on hulu. Very interesting. I watched Fire In The Sky a few month ago that got me intrigued. My father in law is a big time believer in this stuff. I didn't even know that for 9 years before finding out last year! He has books everywhere over ET, everything that you'd see on GLP. Damn...

Felt those involved were being honest, and they actually believe they were abducted. Not a hoax.

And agreed, it was a well made episode.
