Well what does this mean for thrift stores? Or eBay???

more money for bigger government. The bigger the better. Right?

Youwill still be able to sell, but youwill have to shell out more of the profits to the Mafia hit men, who have set themselves up as our government.

Re: You May Not Sell Your Own Stuff
Interesting. You know I was noticing that nobody around here has garage sales anymore. It used to be that every Saturday there would be tons of signs for them and parking lots set up with them flea market style.
Then I noticed that everybody goes to Goodwill to shop and not to individual yard sales.
Our Goodwill Store is huge. It is always jam-packed every day of the week. I went in for the first time in about a year looking for hand painted single plates of china from Bavaria, Hungary and Austria. I found lots of great pieces there.

I guess people here gave up and just donate to Goodwill after nobody shows up.
It made me have a different opinion. It makes it where the person doesn't make money off his own stuff, he can only buy more at a cheap price.

oh, no, wait; let me re-phrase that: youwill still be able to sell, but, as usual, youwill have to shell out extra, to the government, for the privilege of selling, whether you make a profit or not, and that makes it a tariff [government took off the tariff for Corporate Society (Free Trade), but are putting it on We The People instead because theyhave destroyed the bourgeoisie, thus no money coming in]

Deanna Spingola | 2010-10-07 - One cannot claim to cherish both sovereignty and accept free trade, through "multinational trade organizations and global financial conglomerates." Marx, a mouthpiece minion for the elite, advocated both the income tax and free trade. He said of free trade, "it breaks up old nationalities" and eliminates the "bourgeoisie" (small businessmen). Free trade functions to equalize the masses while elevating the elite and their acquiescent political devotees.

This is one of those situations, like with medications -- where US Residents pay more for the same product simply because they are US Residents.

In effect -- we subsidize the product sold in other counties -- we pay more, so they pay less.

Disgusting... the companies that do this need to be boycotted.

I don't see how they're going to enforce this on a large scale. With resale shops, perhaps but with the average person not so much.

Or perhaps you just donot know who is the Mafia?

Geeze I don't know. We studied it pretty extensively in Copyright law class, but I couldn't tell you the dates. Do a google search or something. I know one big one was about reselling comic books.

But the previous cases set precedent, so I doubt "tariffs" will screw around with it.

Like I said. People are always challenging this stuff. Just because it's going to court doesn't mean shit. A couple of years ago, there was a case about reselling digital content on physical medium. It was over pretty quick.

Re: You May Not Sell Your Own Stuff
P.S. This case is a little redundant and I don't see how it got this far. The whole point of the protection of the Right to Resell is that the copyright holder has been compensated once for the original purchase and from their on out it becomes product. The whole right is based around copyright so the fact that is foreign doesn't mean shit either. We have international copyright law. And ontop of that, our copyright "treatise" are largely ignored going both ways. On top of that, China is the largest copyright violator in the world. We'd never do anything to appease them. Seriously. Don't worry about this.

Youre only a fucking retard if you cant sell youre own stuff - even when it is illegal.

You fucking morons dont even realize most of the 'illegal' laws in these times are a fucking joke and not even to be considered with in terms of a so called 'risk factor'.

God wont judge you fucking morons playing by the book in these times. And even better he will judge you good if you rebel the fucking system.

The box is getting smaller, and people on these forums aint out of the box, that is for sure.

No, this is the government behind this, and it is on its way to the Supreme Court; the government wants it and the Supreme Court will give it.

They have to rule against the lower court.
Yes, the publisher got screwed.
But, they can't open such a crazy hornet's nest out of this case. For this guy?
This guy broke US import laws, I'm sure. (probably income tax too)
But, to rule in favor of copyright infringement would open Pandora's box.

Put simply, though Apple has the copyright on the iPhone and Mark Owen does on the book “No Easy Day,” you can still sell your copies to whomever you please whenever you want without retribution.

read the article..they are fucking with buying a product and selling COPIES!
