C'mon Americans, take a step back and see the debate for what it was

Obama did well didn't he, performed upto the level that we're (you my fellow Americans more than me) accustomed to....

Look, Obama is a slick operator, many accusations can be laid at his feet, but not being able to come across well has never been one of them, he's charismatic and smoooooth.

And then there's the head to head.

Was he slick and charismatic ?

He suddenly forget how to sell him self ?

Of course not.

In which case, he set out to do badly, he set out to lose.

And since he's not an idiot, this also means he had a rational reason for wanting to come second best.

The only logical reason for wanting to lose, and wanting to put yourself on the path to not being the next president is if you knew something for which you did not want to be tied to.

It's clear that something is proposed (Collapse of US, WW3 etc... take your pick) and Obama has decided that he doesn't want it to happen on his watch, he doesn't want to be known as the president that oversaw xyz (put your fav USA doom theory here).

So, there it is, Obama wants to lose, because he doesn't want his name associated with something that's planned to happen during the next presidency....
