United States 10/04/2012 04:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | NEW MEDIA NARRATIVE: "Obama's going to be the Comeback Kid!" Let's bear in mind these "he may have lost the election tonight" gasps from the Left are only a set-up to lower the bar for an Obama "comeback". These guys aren't so stupid to seriously declare the election over. Watch the media lower the bar, then when Obama does "decent" in an upcoming debate (if he doesn't get floored again), they'll declare him a big winner, the "Comeback Kid." Some panic set in, but they'll re-group and restructure the narrative quickly into "Romney lied", "Obama's going to fight back", "We need to stand by our president while he's down," other nonsense. Never underestimate your opponent! I guarantee Obama will come out swinging in the next debate and the media will in lock-step declare him the winner, feisty, tough, "he's comeback, big time." It doesn't matter what happens or what he says, the fix is in and this is the narrative --- unless Romney is so tough and so on-point and so ready for this that nothing Obama does can overcome it. --- "How is Obama's closing statement so fucking sad, confused and lame? He choked. He lost. He may even have lost the election tonight." [ link to andrewsullivan.thedailybeast.com] |

Obama knew he was beaten and beaten well by someone far more presidential than him. He looked almost apologetic for being there at some points and each time his jokes failed or his much talked about personality let him down it became more painful to watch.
I almost felt sorry for him towards the end, like watching Ali getting a beating from Larry Holmes. The only difference is that Obama didn't have an Angelo Dundee to save him. |
