I guess I will try to be the first person to address the topic seriously.

First, Mitt Romney has done nothing for the past eight years but run for president, so THAT is the one thing he is best at right now--performing.

Second, Mitt Romney has nothing else on his mind than running for president. Let's think of some things that could have been on Obama's mind last night:

The Turkish parliament had just authorized President Erdogan to invade Syria, if he thinks he must.

Afghanistan is getting deadlier for American troops because of attacks from Afghan military and police.

Sectarian violence in Iraq is prompting a discussion between the U.S. and Iraq to return American troops.

Drone war in Pakistan causing problems.

Blowback from Benghazi.

What is President Morsi really up to in Egypt?

Riots in Greece and Spain and what they portend for other European countries.

Will Israel attack Iran?

Will Iran preemptively attack Israel?

Drone war in Yemen causing instability.

Drone war in Somalia.

Drone war in Sudan.

Special Forces in Africa to help find Joseph Kony, among "other" things.

China and Japan are facing off in a tiff over islands in the South China Sea.

And that is just stuff hitting the fan on the international scene.

Meanwhile, Mitt was just practising his AMWAY act.

As soon as the debate was over, Mitt went back to campaigning, while Obama went back to being president.
