haha well to date i've talked to approx 300k at the least...and that is no exaggeration...far from 37 mil i know....

i have talked to many very nice people out there, but for the most part, most are very rude and vile. it's the nature of the biz i guess and from my experience i've learned most people have no patients what so ever. when you get people one after the other telling you they don't know what kind of car they are driving or know where they are, then have the nerve to bash you and call you names, after awhile you expect most to be that way...in other parts of the country that i handle the people are pretty laid back and have a sense of humor....this is just my observation from experience....

i hope to get off that area soon because personally, i can't handle the outright snobby rudeness anymore. i makes me sick.

And it's the 6th largest economy in the world. Pays more in federal taxes than all of the southern border states combined, and gets less back. The US couldn't afford to lose Cal.

I'm getting the FUCK out of Maricopa county, the most ugly and BORING ASS place I've ever been, and heading back there. At least there's miles of beaches I've had awesome times with girls on. The ocean for scuba diving and surfing with amazing sunsets. Mountains for skiing. Fantastic art and music, unlimited vistas and people live their life every day. They don't sit around watching TV wishing they were somewhere else. Which is all everyone here in So AZ does (the north is WAY different though. Cooler temps, nicer people and a hell of a lot more to do). Screw triple digit temps for over 5 months every year, dry weather that cracks your skin, monsoons so hot you sweat when you walk out your door at 5 in the morning because that's the only time you can walk your dog and not pass out from the relentless heat. And the health care system is so bad here if it were a country it would be in the bottom 6% of 191 countries. (Banner Health Care my ass. I know FIVE people that have lawsuits against them)

I'm ust tired of people ripping on my friends and family for no reason other than they're jealous of people with LIVES that enjoy them. Every day. And they're conservative as hell. They just have more of a "live and let live 'tude towards life. Me and my friends all felt the same. "No man is my enemy until he crashes down my door". And when he does, he gets destroyed.

When I return to the central coast I'll invite anyone to come visit. And show them places and food and things that probably won't make them want to live there, but they might be more enlightened as to why some do.

Ever spend christmas day with two topless girls on a beach with food and wine and your dog? That was my first christmas in 1982. I was hooked from then on. And going to school and renting a room from a PROUD Viet Nam vet and his wife 1/2 block from a small "secret" beach.

You don't have to burn gas to enjoy yourself there because everything is right in your backyard. But you do have to make a living, and lucky enough for me, I've already got that dealt with. If I wasn't going there, I'd move to northern AZ. It's totally different from Phoenix' "hellish boredom". And the northerners know it.

I think Obama needs to do a fly over so he can see the situation for himself... burn up a few hundred thousand pounds of fuel..

Then he should visit the worst off gas stations... limo and entourage in tow... that should burn up another thousand gallons of gas.

Then he should give a speech and tell us that we all need to conserve fuel... and fly Al Gore in to be with so we can get the global warming and lack of air make a bad debater speech at the same time.

I share empathy with you, Heisenberg! I live in Oregon, and a lot of posters bash Oregon because all of the political maps show it as a Blue State. We actually used to be conservative, neighborly, "mind-your-own-business" sort of people until we had a HUGE influx ( more like a tsunami) of fleeing Californians during the late 70's - early 80's. Most of them seemed to have parked themselves in the Portland or Salem areas, to the relief of the REST of the State. Unfortunately, they have taken over first local and then state government and are busy trying to turn Oregon into Cali Part Deux.

This is the equivalent of Norway having a gas shortage. This is absolute bullshit. An energy state that doesn't have energy. The worlds largest refineries in California, how can there be a gas shortage here and no gas shortage in Arizona? All that crude oil gets pumped here to be refined before it goes out to the rest of the other states like Nevada and Arizona. There's some straight out political manipulation going on here.
