Married this Girl years ago (she was a disfellowed JW and enjoyed partying and being a normal young woman) and the weekend after the honeymoon she went back- At that point he was TOLD there would be no more partying (she enjoys Wine so Wine was okay every now and again) no Holidays, etc... Anyhow, years passed and he finally joined up with the JW's.The thing is, he continues to party, lies to his wife, goes to strip clubs etc- Its actually pathetic- SHould have annuled the marriage immediately. Funny thing is, she has caught him with weed (searched his car) and threatened divorce (which is against the Bible is it not?) and he had to do something similar, go talk to elders who "told" him what to do. He played their game but never stopped (just found a better hiding place) Anyhow, its a pathetic and sad cult. |

I had a JW older woman come by the house so I humored her with a couple Bible studies since I enjoy that. Well, one time she brought over a nice blonde younger gal. They were trying pretty hard to get me to join up. Didnt work out. |

Jam User ID: 24821273 United States 10/05/2012 05:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | so has any body got any thoughts on the apostasy trial? Quoting: examiner if youve been a jw youl know what its like and for this bloke to go in and record his trial is amazing and i hope as many jws see this as possible. An apostasy trial? That would be where they claim to be the only way. Anything outside the Church is lost. Others also claim this; if you leave their denomination you will not be part of the 'remnant'. God has his remnant in all churches, and some do need to come out of those denominations once they discover error. |

They were trying pretty hard to get me to join up. Didnt work out. Hmmm. That's made me think. There was a JW woman who used my stables/arena. Then her son did some work for me and soon she started on her bible study sessions. I went along with it for months, but then she brought along a middle-aged man who was a widower (I'm widowed and live alone). It never occurred to me then that this could be a ploy for me to get more involved - it does now. They were very persistent and eventually annoying. I only got rid of them when I accidentally left the dogs out when they called. |
