While you are lying on your back, you can look up into the sky and see all the chemtrails that you swear don't exist......Clown

Nah, I filed a request a few weeks ago with Spray Central, so we have clear skies today. You're welcome. hf

...so you'll probably see a lot more of me for the next month or so.

UPDATE: Back home now, on Percocet and feeling no pain. I actually had no cartilage left in the big toe, so they had to fuse it
 Quoting: The Guy

so why didn't they collect your cartilage cells and grow you another piece and put it in there?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24358110

I've never heard of that. Can it be done?
 Quoting: The Guy

its becoming regular in knees now, don't see why not toes. Yes, they can, and either inject the cells into the joint, or do a more open surgery to lay in a layer of new cartilage.

It's basically fast-acting arthritis in the first joint of the big toe. No one really knows what causes it.

That's what they always say when they want to do surgery and prescribe drugs that dont work. They have no other answers.

I has a finger that would not bend. Had a sharp pain. It was all of a sudden; I thought it was broken. I did not run right out to the doctor. I did put the finger in a store bought splint for 2 weeks assuming maybe it was weak or broken. Did not help. Next I just began to bend the finger more every day and soon it was back working with no pain. Today it is completely normal.

Just goes to show the old saying "use it or lose it."

I had been typing on a keyboard instead of swinging a construction hammer and after a while of not bending the fingers stiffened. Same with toes.

There could be other dietary factors also since some foods do promote arthritic bone lose; these too are reversible.

Bone and joint loss could also be due to cholesterol statin drugs. Read the insert. Or maybe even those vaccines we always hear are totally safe.

Statins and bone loss

Rosuvastatin (crestor)

Side effects:

joint pain

muscle pain (from cholesterol losses/wasting)

All these drugs have a wasting side effect upon the skin muscles and bones & joints that will only get worse.

I have 2 pins in my right big toe joint, when it goes below 15 deg., I'm in pain. Sub-zero temps, I have the heat going, a blanket over a heating duct & my feet under the blanket.
