does anyone else remember the first time they heard of the mayan 2012 prophecy?

Yep, i've posted about this in several thread before. He said the final alien invasion would start december 22nd 2012. Great series! I've heard mention that they might be coming out with a third movie on that date.

2008 or 2009 I heard about it on a forum and left it to the dust and shadows of the past.

I remember hearing about it in 1987.

oh wow that was a long time ago i was only 4.

2002-2004. One of my teachers taught us about it and showed us a video.

it showed what would happen dec 21, 2012. Apparently all the appliances and electronics will try to attack us and same with all our pets and animals lol

'2012' was always a period to watch out for for me; back in the early 80's I was reading about the chinese astrology prediction regarding the water dragon bringing a time of much unrest, starting with this year... cycles of history in twelves all the way back to huang'ti: fits for the most part, so I payed attention- then in the 90's I noticed a lot more focus on the mayan 'prediction'- the same decade which made me focus on the bushes and the Nearly Wonderful Oligarchy so, i figure you go figure. ;)

I read about it in my junior year high school history book, in 1999.

do you all wanna hear a story? its my story about all this shenanigans. ok here it goes.... so i was born in the early 80s and i was very sad when i was growing up. my family treated me differently. they were really mean and they would talk about me like i was from another planet. they would notice how i was developing mentally and phyisically. my dad was the only one who showed me love and he died when i was 9. right after that one of my family members sat me down and explained to me the reality that my mom and dad were acutally my grandparents and some of my cousins were my brothers and sisters and my uncle was my dad and my mom gave me up to them when i was born and when she came back for me when i was nine months they sent me away to live with my grandparents. they changed all my documents so i could basically never find her. sooo... i grew up very rebelious and would ditch school and have older boyfriends and chizz like that and then i got into the occult and reading the satanic bible listened to heavy metal music and when i was fourteen i had my first sleep paralysis. i immediatly looked it up and found forums where others would talk about such things and they said they thought they were being abducted by aliens. i was a big x files fan and was like thats crazy. i read about sleep paralysis and left it at that, it would happen to me at least 6-9 times a year. fast forward ten years of that. one night i met a guy ill call him michael and he explained to me about dmt and such. one night i was getting high with my friends lol. and i was sitting on the couch and i felt different. NOT HIGH! it was different than that. my heart felt like there was a hand squeezing it and the inside of my left wrist felt pressure. i was sitting there answering questions that i couldnt hear in my head and my friends were speaking up with the conversation that was happening. it lasted an hour the phone rang when it was over and it was michael and he said he wanted to come over and explain to me what had just happened, when he got there he told me and my friend that everyone found out that night that God was coming back and that no one needed to be scared, his words. my atheist friend disagreed to him about the existence of God and said we are our own God and michael said thats true but there is someone much older than any of us... i few nights later we were hanging out with my friends and he made me hear a voice in my head. it sounded like a tiny robotic alien voice beeps and idk how else to explain. i got mad and rebuked his ass and never spoke to him again. that night i had an episode of sleep partalysis and i just got so tired of all the spritual shenanigans that i pleaded for Jesus to come into my heart and help me fight. it is my testimony to this day that i have no longer had sleep paralysis. its been almost a year, well what i wanted more than anything was to be an entertainer and i was revealed the truth about the industry. and well i dont want to be under mind control or sell my soul so i gave up my dream in Jesus name and left it up to him to reveal to me what my true purpose is. i did more and more research that eventually led me to here and since then im reading about nibiru. re[tilians and pleiadians and fifth dimensions and im going on a trip cos the other night i saw a bunch of little gloworms in my vision and somoene on here posted that they saw them too..... so i guess to be continued.

when i was a kid(about 9yrs old) id go to garage sales with my uncle and aunt, i bought this plaster cast of the mayan calendar painted a coppery color because i thought it was weird and cool.I didnt know what it was..
Found out what it was when i was 15 and researching weird stuff..found out exactly what it was in a doom sense about 10yrs ago.
still have it becuase its funky looking.but belief??hmmmm

Hey that's the same show I saw! I remember fax machines eating a guys tie, and a killer toaster loll! I tried to remember the date thinking it would never be a big deal....Then the Internet came along!

I heard about it in 2004. I was thumbing through a catalog called "Things you never new existed!" They advertised a book called: "The Orion Prophecy by, Patrick Geryl." It goes into great pseudo-scientific detail about what is to take place in 2012. There was also the book "The Biggest Secret, by: David dIcke." I ordered the two of them and here I am on GLP some years later!

However, I have come to the conclusion that the whole 2012 thing is a crock of shit and nothing significant will happen on said date. If i'm wrong I will gladly peel the egg off my face and fry it up for the believers, no problem.
