Yea kinda stupid huh? You have to registar to vote so that they have your name on a list when you go to the voting place..then they check you off. Depending on where you live etc decides which voting place you go to.

Your registration has to go to the county clerk of your resident county by a date certain. Ya think that website is gonna bother with that legal detail?

I just filled it out and all it does is take your zip code and tell you specifics about your area. It is not registering online, at least in my state.

Well, how do you ensure that someone doesn't vote 40 times? Or that someone from another country doesn't come across the border just to vote? Or that someone isn't using a deceased's person's name in order to get that extra vote? Or using their dog's name as if it were a valid voter? These are ALL problems we've had here in the States, which is why you are SUPPOSED to register (although many still don't, which is where the voter fraud comes from). This is one of the cornerstone arguments against having open borders with Mexico/South America (as our current President advocates) because the suspicion is that hundreds of thousands of people are being brought across the border for the express purpose of stuffing the ballot boxes, presumably in his favor.
