Is the Gas Shortage Politically Motivated?
NONE of these reasons for the shortage happened just yesterday - yet there was no mention of it prior to the debate. During the debate Obama said something about raising taxes on oil companies and I told my husband that Obama just made an enemy. Then overnight we have a shortage? REALLY?

So why then was this problem not even spoke of before the debate? Similar to the layoff notices that the Whitehouse worked out a deal with Lockheed Martin to not give out layoff notices until after the election? Somethings not quite right about this gas shortage - why not a peep about it until it happens? I find the timing quite interesting.
