Biking is good. But, here in the Northeast close to Canada, we get lots of snow and ice and below zero whether. Pretty difficult to bike 20 miles to work in those conditions! Really, difficult for the kids, pets and hauling grocerys.

We seriously need to do something about this. The price on barrels of oil go down, yet the price of gas goes up. Massive protests need to happen because of this. You mean to tell me, that if you're working and getting paid minimum wage, working 8 hours isn't even enough to fill your gas tank? Fuck that.

most of america is broke and couldn't afford too register / insure a brand new car even if it was free. relax half the american fleet of cars 125 million of them are on their proverbial last legs . Yeah, riding a bike is good and all. But commuting 30 miles to work one way, in a state where it snows more than 1/3 of the year is rather insane. If my job was within walking or biking range I would do it, most people would too.

Thursday 87 octane reg gas wa $4.09 a gal, Friday morning it was $4.45, 87 octane reg gas, Just went to town it is now $4.59 for 87 reg. Thats .50cents in a day and a 1/2.

That's because oil isn't gas. Oil needs to be refined and our refineries are few and shit. That's why gas is expensive.
